Beginner Polymer Clay | Heart Canes
In this polymer clay tutorial learn how to make simple, but really cute and pretty polymer clay hearts that you can use as for your home decor projects. You can also use cane-packing to create heart tiles or create patterns out of these heart designs to create veneers and backdrops. In this tutorial I also go over tips and tricks for painless and smooth skinner blending as well as how to cut slices from large canes. Be sure to watch all the way through for tips and tricks!

• Polymer Clay Canes for...
Clay Ratios:
- 20G of soft red
- 30G of purplish pink
- 40G of white
- 80G of background (light pink)
Final Weight: ~66g (will lose some mass during reduction depending on how you reduce)
Color Mixes:
- soft red: translucent, red, white
- purplish pink: red, white, tiny bit of blue, tiny bit of black
- light pink: red, white, yellow, tiny bit of blue, tiny bit of black
