Hey KC, just wanted to say thank you for all you put out into the world. I'm learning piano for the first time - in my late 40s. I'm atheist, but feel a very deep spiritual connection and emotional outpouring unlike anything else when listening and playing music. Its like I've discovered some beautiful hidden language that was there all along. Watching your video tutorials are so much fun, instructive, and edifying. These are amazing tutorials! I am a doubler (sax and bass are my main instruments) trying to improve my piano playing. My left hand is awful, I got locked in to playing open chords and big octaves, and Im trying to retrain my brain a bit. Any specific suggestions or videos that help develop a more dynamic left hand?

Ain't nothing funk about it, it's more of gospel blues chords. Sounds good but that ain't funk chords. Usually if not every time a good funk song starts in minor chords not major chords like you are playing them.
