Something I notice about elo hell is that in almost (almost) every single one, the player does something that weaken considers correct, or even surprises him in how well they executed. Not only does it show that the people _can_ do things better, but it shows that it takes all of these things done correctly to be considered good at the game. You'll have your strengths as we all do, focus on your weaknesses. Also, don't listen to that other guy. Ranked is the place you will learn. Everyone is 100% more toxic in ranked and you need to get used to that, as well as the tactics they evolve.

I'm convinced you can't climb unless you party with someone. Under plat it doesn't matter how good you are because every game is basically a gamble on whoever has the worst teammate loses

That’s so true. I party up with my friend to get out of plat almost all splits. This split, my buddy is not playing ranked, I am stuck in plat…. It’s literally a gamble, sometimes I get good teammates, others I get adc Zhong or Bacchus sup with TP…

I heavily disagree as someone whose been masters/gm in both Overwatch and Smite (unless your a lower impact role such as support.) The biggest tips I have if you are legitimately better than the rank your currently in is to pick higher impact characters that are capable of carrying or snowballing, make plays you cant be passive or sit in your own lane all game and actively avoid toxicity in chat you can do this by hyping up good plays and by protecting people who are being flamed (if your top fragging.) I play more aggressive and value my own life significantly more in lower ranks.

This isn't the slightest bit true, it's just that no one realizes how different sub 2k mmr is. All you have to do from 1500-2k is literally ping the fuck out of objectives and all these little gold and plat players will come flock to you. Also if you're actually 500-1k mmr better than everyone else here you should be able to gain leads every match that allow you to force these type of things

yeah in high plat lobbies rn like 6 or 7 out of 10 people will have masters or GM border every game. Played against blasphemusrage (a player in this video) multiple times the other day and won, I think many people are struggling rn with teams being all over the place

i had an adc blame me for him dying we had got out and were scot free after being 3 man ganked in duo lane. my mans stood at edge of tower to keep autoing and all 3 of enemy gods had cc he was asking to die and he did. he immediately left duo lane started taking all of junglers camps making him fall behind in exp and called me trash. because he died 1 time and it was 100 percent his fault.

Exactly this. Dudes on this game refuse to learn and settle on blaming teammates for not bailing them out. Then proceed to purposely throw the rest of the game.

That’s team based games in a nut shell. Childish behavior is prevalent. The same people can be found in siege overwatch paladins CSGO Val Rocket League. It’s aggravating

I think the hard ranked resets make things weird. When you start Queueing in the new season you can play against masters, GMs diamonds etc but your elo is 1600. If you lose to people that are reasonably much better than 1600 your elo is further pushed down.

DoubleJ's elo hell was one of the most fun one to watch ! Pretty good smite plays. Would you be able to do a "I should have been Pro Player elo hell"? Like gather a full lobby of pros and throw some SCC or SOC player in there ? That might be hard to pull and not really representative of it but might be fun!

22:00 to defend a FG with only 3 people and you're behind. I go to left and just farm and try to level up. Defending a normal FG is no problem. He needed the farm more.

Yeah I wouldn't say he is good enough to be GM, def Master or high Diamond but I would say the same about the rest of the people in that lobby tbh. Not to mention he had a Terra/Apollo so 0 pressure compared to a Charon/Pele.

Like I said on the DoubleJ video, sure its a more competitive environment, but it's also what ranked should be, players in comms, actually trying. It's arguably more difficult to look like you fit in such harsh environment that it kinda brings out those flaws more so than the expected ranked experience

I don't trust teammates to properly tank pheonix and towers so i always get emperors armor. Solo lane is probably gonna dive fountain while support is gonna take 2 shots and then run away because they don't want to be poked out

same i peaked at diamond and came back this season, and im stuck in elo hell. silver to be exact, i just played a game where my supp went mercury and my jungle fed, 011 09, i was solo my adc and mid were deecent but there was no way we were winning that game, i also played a game where my solo lane went 0 17 and left at 35 minutes, elo hell exists becasue you usally get 1 or 2 teamates that are so incompetent at their role that they are useless

Which Pridwen Glyph is the good one? I'm getting back into Smite after a LONG time. Mostly just playing Guardians because its easier to build without knowing THE build. But should i be going Double Explosion Pridwen or Higher Shield Pridwen?

Explosion/red glyph. Executioner glyph guarantees there's a strong anti-shield and kills the value of the shield/blue glyph.

If the enemy team has green executioner blade and horrific emblem (which 90% they will because they’re busted right now) blue pridwen shield becomes completely useless while red pridwen will always have value as long as you use it on the correct gods

Started the season strong reached 2100 mmr was getting 37 on a win and losing 12 on a loss, Went on a big lose streak and now the numbers flipped I’m convinced the game hates me with giving me the same troll back to back and can’t gain anymore

So here is a suggestion for anyone trying to climb. Play 2 games of ranked a day then play with your friends. If you are having fun before or after it will translate to your future games. Also don’t spam your teammates it won’t make them play better. Your best bet is to not tilt. Also I feel like tricky’s pain I’ve been masters before and this season has been a combo of being busy and the reset and people playing to be ready for smite 2. Ggs every one and good luck in your ranked games.

Silver branch benefits based on attack speed OVER the cap so being at cap without an auto stim will make it a dead item effect your better off building almost anything else at that point

Smite doesn't have the player base to support a 5v5 ranked queue. You'd just constantly queue into the same 5 stack every game, or you would have to wait 20 minutes for games
