Make sure the dealer gives u a car fax report b4 u commit 2 buying any vehicle. It gives the entire history of the vehicle. Though, I don't know if it applies the same way in UG!!

That road in Germany you're talking about is known as Autobahn. You can drive the maximum speed of even 340 km/h if your car can.

Spi have never been to Germany, all the Germans I meet arevproid of their autobahn. Which is the most stupid thing ever allowed, speed is the quickest way to kill a vehicle. Anyone who wants to get maximum longevity out of your vehicle slow down , change your oils and filters, and spark plugs.

Stick shift vehicles is old technology. Auto vehicles is the new driving technology cuz its efficient. Has nothing 2 do drivers being distracted. Just like type writers were replaced with keyboards n rotary phones replaced with smartphones.

Another difference between an automatic and a standard transmission, you get more life on your transmission. They have so many hills in Uganda you can just disengage the transmission and just cruise half of the time.Even when your starter goes out you always can push Start the vehicle.

I am sorry, Automatic Cars do not cause accidents. It's the people behind the wheels aka distracted drivers, reckless drivers, inexperienced drivers or Driving under influence of a substance(Mainly Alcohol) that contributes to accidents.

@@ugconnect Example my car is a 2004 Ford=Made, Crown Victoria=Model, Also it's very important to look at the mileage of a vehicle not license plate number to determine how worth it might be, I have bought a few cars for my self and family, Usually make the dear it up so I can check underneath the car for any damages, also pop up the hood to check the engine and its area, make sure all doors opens and closes, windows rolls up and down, Make sure no check engine lights and other warning lights on the dashboard, These are few of the stuffs you need to let you followers know, Between I doubt the car dealerships wants you to announce such.

@@ugconnect Lawrence, the difference between make and model is that 'Make' refers to the brand of the vehicle(Eg. GM, Ford, Toyota, BMW, Nissan, Mercedes Benz etc). 'Model'on the other hand refers to specific vehicle type, Toyota Highlander, Toyota Prado, Toyota Camry, BMW X2, X5 etc.Ford Expedition etc.

As someone who rebuilds cars in Los Angeles, a Ugandan trained mechanic, my observation and experience on used cars. It depends on how the previous owners took care of that vehicle.Some drivers barely drive the vehicle for 30 years. We just sold a Dodge van 1998 with only 45000 miles. I rather have that van than 2023 with only 5000 miles.

People please stay away from Germany and British cars. They’re nothing but more of money pit machines. Stay with Toyota/Lexus or honda/Acura. Those are the only cars will will last forever. Once a mechanic told me that If you see a Range Rover on the road, it’s either going to a mechanic or coming from a mechanic. Also Ford are made here in the USA. We have a nick name for ford: Find On Road Dead, or Fix Or Repair Daily. Those jeeps look good but they’re very unreliable.
