Time-lapse clips of a prickly sowthistle ( Sonchus asper ) plant growing. Each clip was shot over a period of around 3 days on a Panasonic Lumix GH3 camera, capturing one frame of video every 12 minutes.
The plant is also known as rough milk-thistle, spiny sowthistle, sharp-fringed sowthistle and spiny-leaved sowthistle.
