GilbertCO6 you said it plus the transitions were more realistic you could really flow and scramble plus the ground and pound felt like you were hitting them in UFC 2 the ground and pound is the slowest right cross to the face imaginable. I hate the metered grappling. ea sports pulled a madden they just don't care even career mode is screwed up the well known fighters disappear almost immediately and you fight simulated generic fighters. THQ even had fluke knock outs no rocked stage just quick knockout fight over, I hate EA sports so much.

GilbertCO6 GilbertCO6 This game is nostalgic and everything but let's be real. Not smooth at all, very Lunging Left/Right hook heavy. Jabs don't mean shit in this game and they should mean more in EAs UFC. They act like everybody walks through straight punches. If they made all shots inflict more damage and lessen the block(this isn't boxing, MMA gloves leave you more vulnerable) 3 could be a great game. Less spam moves, less jumping attacks that everybody has. Less read head knockouts, flash knockouts exits. Haven't seen a fighter stumble and trip over his wobbling legs while avoiding the final punch(think GTA IV after you hangout at the Bar mechanics). Please bring Realism to this game. At the very least a complete Simulation mode to allow people to play the classic if need be.

In all honesty you make light of the only few good things about EA UFC. The stumble after an interrupt move is a nice touch. And the fact that you can win fights with non enhanced buttons is realistic. But it's not like you couldn't get a KO with a regular punch in the THQ games. And I actually like the lunging hooks in this game and the fact that you can run. My complaint about the Jab in the EA games is its very slow and lunges you forward. Not to mention the move variety in the EA games is lackluster. Even the submission mini game was more fun in the old games. The THQ games weren't perfect but if you could bring back the old system with a few improvements made by the EA crew, than you would have a really good game.

GilbertCO6 dude the ground and pound is so slow once you posture up it's 3 sec of puppy dog eyes in THQ you could posture and quick elbow strike in the guard similar to Tito Ortiz style plus I can't emphasize how much better grappling was with the free motion analog stick the EA meter is atrocious, slow and the most unrealistic thing about the game. EA sports make lazy games when the have exclusive rights similar to the downfall of madden. Only thing they got right was fight night

GilbertCO6 yeah true, I don't mind the speed of the jab just because I'm able to time it whenever there's an opening but don't spam. I'm okay with an interrupt stumble but I wish they wouldn't allow a stumble combo. People know the strikes that cause a stumble and can chain them together. There is a thing called balance and they should know certain stances aid your balance, some better than others.

Martial Mind I prefer the grappling and clinch of ea UFC 2 but I like the striking, pride mode and career mode of undisputed 3 also I like the old fighters they have on the roster in undisputed.
