Directed and photographed by Martin Bovey, Jr. and narrated by Bob Wolff, the film features spring training in Orlando, the season opener at Yankee Stadium, and great color footage of early Twins stars Harmon Killebrew, Zolio Versailles, Bob Allison and more.

Thanks for posting! I miss Metropolitan Stadium! I went to my first MLB game there in 1979 when I was 4 years old. That was when ownership was tanking the team and they had no big stars. Roy Smalley was with them, and made the All Star Game roster. In the game I attended, the Twins pitcher threw a 10-inning complete game. I could never see that in the modern day.

i have so many good memories of met stadium. i still remember it when there were wood bleachers in left field lol. i loved bat day when they actually gave you a real bat, mine was signed by killibrew, had that bat for years. i even remember going to minn kicks games in later years.
