Japan was definitely the martial arts capital of the world at this time. Looking at it now, it is full of kickboxing and MMA legends.

21 years later and still nothing come close to even touching let alone eclipsing the anticipation and excitement levels that this co promotion managed to execute. That line up will only grow stronger with the passage of time. Was an honour to live through it, slightly sad how good we had it, compares to how.... different it is now......How big was this event? Wanderlei Silva was in the opening match!

This is what happen when you mix greatest kickboxing organisation of all time (K-1) with greatest MMA organisation of all time (pride fc) only could happen at a certain time and place. When Japan was center of the world for both kickboxing and MMA (having the best org of each sport in the same country) . God bless the yakuza

これがあの大失敗のイベントk-1 Dynamite 2002か…。チケットぜんぜん売れなくてタダ券配ってなんとか客を入れたという…。ガラガラだったとか（テレビカメラはそれを映さない）。UFCのデイナ・ホワイトが言ってたのがこれ。
