I bought my first watch at 34 because of your videos. A god tier Casio stainless steel watch. But it’s a promise watch, I bought it as a visual commitment to quitting weed and nicotine. And the promise I made myself is if I ever slip up I have to sell or give the watch away. It’s not the nicest watch but it’s means a lot to me. Thanks dude for the entertaining content and educating us on watches!

Ok Nico, I'm gonna lecture you a little bit here. The Calatrava cross has nothing to do with the polish army, it's the coat of arms of one of the oldest military orders of the old Castile kingdom, 12th century, and signifies victory over the infidels, infidels been the muslim moors that ocupied a big part of the iberian peninsula back then. Every time that i see rich arabs wearing Pateks i never miss the chance to tell them what they are wearing on they wrists 😂😂, you should see how their face changes in a second.

Pole here, Calatrava has nothing to do with Polish army. It is an emblem of a Spanish religious-military institution that emerged during the Reconquista and fought with Muslims, called Order of Calatrava (from the name of a castle).

I just picked up a IWC Big Pilot Transitional. 5002 face with a 5004 (51110) movement. A little over 100 made. A dual spring peloton moment, which replaced the single peloton moment.

My Tag 2016 Aquaracer is class - automatic, ceramic bezel. Great watch. However, I do agree that some of their 80s and 90s stuff was crap. Great video.

Yes please Id definitely like a how-to on watch functions , I wanna use my tachymeter , sure I can Google it or watch on KZfaq but I doubt they have enough profanity in them an I require a certain amount of it to really get it into my head correctly... IWC is one of the few decent houses remaining and so is Omega. Precisely the brands you dislike. As soon as the Omega 9920 movement percolates to other models, I see a lot a trouble for Rolex. They have nothing at that level.

The co-axial movements are too thick. Until they find a way to thin them down, and by extension their cases, they won’t complete with Rolex.

Remember when Lando Norris got mugged at the Euro Cup final. He was in a secure car park and 2 fellas relieved him of his McLaren RM. The papers & news channels were saying it was worth £30k. This was when RM were selling for silly silly money.
