My man out here making the priesthood cool again
@lucillebonds21968 ай бұрын
You are addressing them like an ordinary person. Priests are consecrated and are separated from an ordinary man so it's outrageous and humiliating to address him as such. Have courtesy! They are alter-Christus, or another Christ.

😢😢God's priests are called to be holy, not "cool". ✝️💒

I think they meant good. These days, some priests find it hard to balance their religious and social life. You can't spread the zeal for priesthood by being one super human. You have to do some exciting things to always show that you live a normal life like everyone else. Thanks to Fr. David for showing us the balance between our social and religious life. They must go hand in hand.@agneshouessou9765

Ok woah guys. I joke with my Priest they are ordinary people just like you and me. Please don't downplay the sacrifices of others for the sacrifice of the clergy. It is extremely beautiful and just so Virtuous. But what Jesus asks for He also upholds. Therefore reverence away! But... Don't forget you have crosses to bear as well. Like not yelling at people over the Internet. Just saying your priest doesn't want you to yell at anyone unless the matter is grave. And in other obvious news. Your Priest is not always En persona Christi. Father Tom didn't sneak out and go to the strip club en persona Christi. His fallen human nature chose evil Lisenctiousness not Jesus. The Priests don't wear Jesus. Jesus appears in their hearts and pops His little head out like a Xenomorph Praise be Jesus Christ that He chooses any man at all. And celebrate your Priest for pursuing a life of Christ. Because the Saints are Jesus body and blood same as you and me. When we eat the Eucharist we take on the person of Jesus. So definitely cool your jets because I just realized. Completely out of line bro. And Jesus suffers perpetual humiliation at all our hands. Which is absurd terrible and beautiful. I'm just saying it's called a mystery because not everyone is called. And chose that are called are overwhelmed. So be overwhelmed by Jesus God bless!

@colinschmitz82978 ай бұрын
Sports cars need to be blessed more than any other car as they are not as safe, there is more temptation to overcome, they can attract trouble, and if it's used, you don't know whether the previous owner(a) did good (or evil things) with the car. If the previous owner did evil things with it, you want it removed. Having survived a severe car wreck, I now have my cars blessed.

I suppose that as long as a priest bless a car as fancy as that, is not materialistic. Based on what I learned in Catholic high school, owning pretty much anything was materialistic and we were encouraged to vow to poverty. I would love to have the nicest house ever, two fancy cars in the garage, and the “prettiest wife” ever. Oh wait, I meant husband! I was just quoting from AA meetings guys saying by the time I get the “nicest house, two cars in the garage, and the prettiest wife” then I will know I made it in life!
