Really I think the power level is weaker. They want a slower game with locations and cards that draw. I'm still gonna play face demon hunter and face mage though. Face is the place. And aggro shaman. Spells? What spells

@@peshomighty5051 yeah I've seen very few "100% this card is being played and is good" (besides tourists) cards in this set, or at least way less than in Whizbang.

Yeah the concept is really cool but this absolutely has the potential to make the set MEGA expensive. I expect they will give each player 1 free tourist, and that's it

Demon hunter has litteralt a one mana hero power to attack things it can always self damage if they opponent plays minions

@@HDGaminTutorials people seem to forget demon hunter probably has the most OP self damage tool with that, Warlock with an easy to obtain weapon that isn't just 0 Attack would be broken

I've been playing standard overheal midrange, and the only card from this expac that I've been considering putting in is the hunter tourist. so far, the card's havent been played with yet.

I'm currently playing shadow pirate priest on wild ladder and I am so hyped for these cards.

I am gonna try this in Highlander DH, since I can discount stuff with the Titan.

Yeah Ashtongue Slayer was already a 1/4 demon and 100% unplayable because of how often you just die to a random shield slam

Yeah people are freaking out about Brain Masseuse but it really only works in extremely hard aggro and even then only as a turn 1 or 2 play. Any later and you’re gonna get smacked in the face for some heavy damage by cheap minion-only burn or a rush minion.

@@MinoriGaming yeah it only works in extreme aggro, but neither class really has a good foundation for an aggro deck that wants this. Priest definetly doesn't want it unless hunter's cards turn out to be good, but I doubt it. DH is the scariest class for it, but honestly DH has way scarier 1 mana minions like sockpuppet or sigil runner (outcast decks are DH most aggresive archetype RN). edit: Arnanna decks could exist but I don't think its a good card in those decks either since it doesn't have rush its just too big of risk to play on turn 8/9 when you start your combo.

@@mees7920 Yeah my thoughts exactly. Priest doesn't have the aggro foundation for this and Demon Hunter's better off with Sockpuppet Slitherspear or Battlefiend, both of whome have comparable statlines without a drawback.

the 5 mana minion is the only payoff, so not really besides the cards being good enough to be playable, both classes do have ample healing so its really not that bad (note: we haven't seen hunter cards yet). But yeah these cards were mainly for desinged Aranna DH decks, but I think the fatigue strat that rarran mentioned is going to be the best combo with that card.

​@mees7920 there's no shot the fatigue glaivetar deck will be good. You lose to aggro and every other slow deck is going to ooze your draw 9 weapon so you kill yourself (in game).

@@DinantZ if every deck ends up running viper to counter combo DH, DH will almost certainly be nerfed anyways, so its quite a moot point. The real problem for aranna DH is the potential for aggro decks to just kill it.

@@mees7920 That's hearthstone for you. Remember stickyfinger or skulking geist? Or even steam cleaner? People run bad cards just for the 1/20 games where they feel good.

I don't think it's that comparable to Yogg. In certain matchups this is definitely better since it comes down 3 turns earlier, but in others Yogg is so much better. For one, against wider decks stealing a minion is worthless and you want to use the insanity mode instead, and two, one of the more common steal targets is the Zilliax with 20 keywords, one of which is Elusive, and Yogg can steal it where this is completely dead. Plus of course there's the less than 20 health clause but idk I don't really think that's as big a deal as the other points. Overall I think sensory depravation is maybe good, especially if self damage priest/DH ends up being good, but I don't think it's really comparable to Yogg.

It can’t hit Zilliax. Zilliax is the main reason Yogg is so universal at the moment.

Others also didn't mention the fact that the spell kills the minion, meaning it procs deathrattles and works with other cards that interact with dead creatures.

I think Hot Coals is the sleeper card (at least compared to all these combo decks), a lot of DH decks pre patch already played Going Down Swinging which is an ever so slightly worse card in the early game.

The effect is also only active while Aranna is on board. PLEASE build a big Glaivetar so I can viper it at like draw 10 and you just blow yourself up before Aranna hits the board.

Fr. Arrana will be no where near as broken as demon seed. Arrana isn’t a win condition card unless you literally built an entire combo for it

Every class' card pool is effectively: Their own 10 cards All the cards in the class of the tourist in their class besides the tourist that is in the other class Their own tourist Using DH as an example the 20 class cards DH has access to are: The 10 DH cards 9 Priest cards (everything besides Voljin as he is the Hunter Tourist) The DH Tourist minion that is in Shaman It's effectively dual class cards but on a one way street.

You also can't interact with the Demon Seed winning by fatigue. Rarran will call other combos Disneyland yet he's pretending like you'll be able to build a like draw 10 Glaivetar and have it not get oozed so you kill yourself (in game).

You're acting like the card is insane. It's really only playable in DH and even then a like 2 mana 5/5 taunt on turn 5 isn't the most insane card in the world. Druid has a 0 mana 4/5 taunt on turn 4 or later and it isn't the most obnoxious card they have (it's more of a problem when it's gaining you 3 mana if drawn off Dorian).
