main cast always get outshined by other classes in every disgaea, very few times are they decent and useful (Like ursalia shes awesome in 5)

Yes, usalia and christo seem to really shine in this, so does laharal and zetta, feels like most of everyone else was evility fodder. Kind of a shame, but seems to be a tradition in disgaea where tier 6 generics are just simply better than main cast

@@Primalliquid92 dunno if I can agree with that point, this game is so crazy silly with stats, literally anything is viable. Nothing is "useless" there is just better options and there is so many many things don't get used, but I don't think anything is useless in this game, its just the biggest limitation is there is only so much you can do on any given map

but they are still useless compared to the other classes, why use a lesser class when another does not only the same but much much better.

Aye, Metallia is overkilled character because her overloaded can capture 100% enemies except bosses of course. Not to mention that she's monster/mage slayer ,but she is bit weak vs. humans, though since she has kikda low HP.

because megaphone gives an extra 30% per monster, not 30% total. so you can get 3 out of 10 monsters for example.

Ohhhh ok that makes sense but if that's the case wouldn't it just be better to boost Metallia extremely high and then just let the enemies hit her so you could just activate her Overload I mean you wouldn't get near as many shards but you'd get way more prisoners so you could get the extracts much faster at least I would think what do you think

stat shards cap out at 10m, once you get 10m from them that character cant gain anymore stats from them

Licensed caregiver gives the expanded area, and can be brought from the skill shop. Also, in the video, he adds stats to 4 characters, since the maid is already maxed. If the maid had the evilty "Cannon for an arm" equipped she'd have been able to use stat irems at range, and hence wouldn't have had to stand in the middle of the stat buff aoe. Another character could replace her in this position allowing 5 characters to be buffed instead of 4.

i know its been a year since you commented but still im gonna say it. you can get it after you mastered the twin dragon subclass when you mastered it you can check the evility shop and you will see the twin heads evility.

So! As one person who didn't know much to another, allow me to drop as much info on Reincarnation as I can. Reincarnation essentially allows you to remove the soft cap of the Max Level (9999), and allows you to further grow the character's stats and/skills. However, the effect isn't very obvious at first, and I've seen both explanations of you either have to Master various classes to get better Reincarnation starts/bonuses, or eventually raise your total Reincarnation level higher and higher. Either way, the general 'Best Time' to use Reincarnation is when a character has hit max level (Once again, 9999), and you're reasonably confident you can continue the game with them being quite nerfed at first.

A little late to the party I know, but any advice helps. Reincarnating is very useful and basically mandatory for the post-game because it allows you to restart a character at level 1, but with increased base stats. A character that has reincarnated even once will be noticably stronger than they used to be even at lower levels due to the base stat increase. For example a character that never reincarnates can expect their stats to cap around 100,000 at level 9999, but a character that reincarnates can get their stats to the millions at the same level. When reincarnating it's usually best to pour all your bonus points into whatever stat your character uses for their weapon. ATK for sword and axe users, HIT/SPD for gun users, INT/RES for mages, ect. When you're in that post-game timeframe it's for the best to build your characters as glass canons due to how damage is calculated making tanks less and less effective as you go on. In addition, the first 5 times a character reincarnates their aptitudes will increase by 5%, meaning you get more stats from your gear after reincarnating enough times. For Disgaea 5 specifically, you should wait until you master every subclass before reincarnating most of your roster since ranking up your subclasses increases your base stats even more when reincarnating. If you master every subclass your character's base stats will increase to over 1000, and that's not including the stats you can add from the reincarnation bonus. The best time to reincarnate is when you can comfortably reach level 9999 in a few map clears, since that will be a quick and efficient way to grind yourself back up.

Stats gained via shards, extracts or chara world are not lost upon reincarnation.

Here a summary of a very long process: First get a character have 300% aptitudes on EVERY STAT via character board as well as be 9999 of you don't want the reincarnation level on the unit description to look retarded Second get master EVERY CLASS in the game for that character (including dlc classes unless if you are on switch) and also have the Elite 4 Squad to MAX LEVEL for more growth rate and put that character with 300% aptitudes as the leader Third equip all 10% evility growth rate abilities and reincarte them back to level 1. Equip a sub weapon and its IMPORTANT that it is the RAISED FLAG, doesn't matter if it's carnage or normal BTW, now level up to level 9999 with that characteryou should be at 20 million Now to get the final 20 million. 10 million come from shards and extracts and the other 10 million come from STAT raising evilities like greedy dispositon (33%), Violence (50%), boorish counter (20%) and Heavy stance (30%) but be warned you cannot go higher than 100% in evilities for STAT raising. This takes about roughly 8 hours of pure dedication for one character

You need to go to character world with Metallica on super overlord difficulty and equip her mental pain then once you reached the goal dupe her mental pain eviltiy as a scroll and you can give it to anyone

@@Primalliquid92 Indeed. In fact, you can get your stats to around 13.6 million with Elite Squad then you will need to use shards/extracts on them afterward.

Item World

If you reset your game via the pirate NPC in the base and start over, don't the quests reset too? (For the Megaphone)

you can get the innocent randomly from killing item gods in the item world but its random which one you get

you can get another one with prizes in iten world dealer like you do in the Hospital

Get to floor 100 with Arcadia and steal it from the item god 2

The Arcadia has to be roughly level 80 before your reach floor 100. Gency out at floor 99 to save and try to steal it from the item God 2. Use 3 mushrooms or succubus' depending on the gender of the item God to lower its stat's so it will be easier to steal the trapezohedron

An Easter way to get one is with the eringy fluid evilty , and take dmg from enimeys in any loc setting and you get an loc mushroom soup, got in to it via the item world and you can get loc Arcadia easy this way then clear the item god in the Arcadia for the trap. It will be loc trap if you're in the loc arcadia.

A character's stats cap at 10 million from growth. You can get an extra 10 million via shards/extracts.

I was under the (false, I guess) impression that the stat cap is 40m? And then extracts and elixirs (and gear) start adding on top.

sagalian well there’s is a way how to do this use a level 9999 go to the carnage dimension second go to martial training and go to the fourth trial. Afterwards use your level 9999 characters that is assigned to the capture at least 128 enemies once you do, go to the innteragation room and reduced there sp down to zero and then you extract them all at once after words you use the magic extract that has high stats to your level one character and your level 1 character can get high stats the more you do the fourth trial of the carnage dimension

there is a limit for 10 million stats, you should reach this limit with 300% growth for stats in Chara World and you may have mastered all subclasses, around 1150 for each stats

firstly i recorded this before Disgaea 5 was even released to the public (review copy) it was uploaded late to this channel because i used to use an old one (kzfaq.info) hence yes its sub optimal, hell its not even worth farming asagi's for shards its better to capture Moo monsters. getting the 10m stats that way takes like 30-40 minutes.

I personally tried for a long time to just follow what others said to do, so when i experimented with other things and sometimes got better results, I felt the need to point out differences so that others who watched your video know that there are always other ways. Especially in a game with this many options. Again, sorry for the tone i wrote it in.
