I have a Dialogue HP integrated amp and just demo’d Harbeth super hl5 plus. Was blown away when comparing them with Klipsch Forte III. I’m buying the Harbeth’s later on this year. Can’t wait. Your system sounds amazing by the way

Great combo, definitely harbeths are a superb speakers really difficult to beat even twice the price or more. For me they are not transducers but something more like an instrument that brings us closer to music. Congratulation for your system

I tried the Harbeth C7ES3. Everything sounds great on simple acoustic music but as soon as I tried fast electronic music, it all sounded flat with no tight bass texture. I eventually bought a pair of Sonus Faber Olympica Nova 1’s, incredible speakers.

Terrific sound. Noticed you have Moon & Luxman integrateds on hand as well. I hear Harbeths like tubes, but are also difficult to get "Slam" out of unless 100w of solid state transformers come into play. Is this true in your experience? Which of the 3 amps to you like best with the 30.2s?

SergeWhat a nice system you have reassembled. I have been intrigued by Harbeth ever since I bought the P3ESRs for my office system. Sounds wonderful.

Thank you Kevin. I am very happy with the Harbeth 30.2's. Very musical and non fatiguing speakers that allow me to listen to broad range of genres and various recording quality music without causing listening fatigue or dissatisfaction.

Hey, beautiful sound. Can you please compare the 2 amps. And let us know your opinion. I am currently using Harbeth 30.2 with Luxman L509 and i am considering to change my amp to Either PrimaLuna Evo 400 or Luxman L590.

I just listened to this song with the luxman amp. And to my ears the primaluna wins. The primaluna gives the song more depth, more separation to the singing and everything else that's going on..

So cool! - I wonder why everyone with those speaker chooses the same kind of music to test and show. Always vocals.. (know they are kind of made for that) but why not some electronic instrumental to test? Like "tipper - gulch"

The sounds on that track are crazy. I don't know how to describe it but it's organic sounding and I think of what a bugs would sound like if I could hear them trying to talk haha

Wow you have Violectric 200 or V281 I assume? What do you think about this amplifier comparing to PrimaLuna Dialogue HP when using headphone output to drive headphones such as sennheiser HD650, HD800. I am searching for an ultimate headphone amplifier about few thoundsand bucks. Some amplifiers in my mind too but I would like to have a tube amplifier for Sennheiser headphones. Thanks.

Thanks, I use mostly Wireworld cables and power cords, the Silver Eclipse 7 series. The speaker cables are the Eclipse 7. Great cables.

What difference to the sound does the power cord make compared to a normal power cord make I have tried them I cannot here any improvement.

Hi Serge I have Harbeth M30.2 as well. At moment I am using with SS amp. Thinking about purchasing prima Luna amp. What is the difference SS and tube amplifier please.

Typically the tubes will have a more liquid midrange but with the Luxman Class A and PrimaLuna tubes I like them both!

Try Leak 30 or Rogers amps with this speakers, apple 4s phone clean DAC, You will be very impressed, big difference, this lovely speakers need 15 w old amp, not powerful, new and complicated with expensive cables to them, that what people get. Harman Kardon, Marantz..... old receivers Wow!

In the video it is a $300 DAC module built into a headphone amp. :) The Schiit Gungnir Multibit was a good DAC with this system. I am waiting on a Schiit Yggrdasil to give that a try.

It is the music playing, not the system. This kind of music is very easy to reproduce by any speaker. But try Rock Music and everything changes
