Hello! Thank you very much for your comments! I also appreciate several kinds of music, it`s a joy to ear all of them in a good system. And I also dream with McIntosh... they certainly are beautiful and I have to say that one of the best systems I`ve heard so far was simply a McIntosh Integrated Amplifier with floor standing Tannoy speakers, and those speakers just disappeared and all you ear is a soundstage that feels real in front of you (there`s something about amplifiers with transformers on the output to the speakers, and McIntosh Solid State Amplifiers are unique because they also have transformers on the output...). But I think it`s possible to achieve the same with more affordable gear. The Dialogue Premium must be really a good choice, and for example with Martin Logan ElectroMotion ESL speakers, both should sound fantastic in several types of music, it`s just a matter of testing it and let your ears be the judge... You wanted to ear some reggae, so I followed your idea and made a small test (check my recent video), but with the gear that I have to record it`s not easy to achieve a recording that shows quite how the system is playing for real. I quit recording this way... All I can say is that it`s really much better than it sounds on the video. The speakers in this video were ProAc Studio 110, at the moment I have a different setup, you can see in this video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/apthmsSAvrzOZIE.html I didn`t made many comparisons to other tube amps, I just had the opportunity to ear some PrimaLunas (and of course other brands in audio shows and several dealers), and found that they match the great reviews you can find on internet and magazines. I really think it`s a great sounding product, well built and with an affordable price. Cheers

Hi! Thank you for your comments. First of all, I`m sure you know very well this recording, it already has the high frequencies very dominant, has you have mentioned. Unfortunately the idea that I have is that those kind of music recordings are not as good as the ones found in Jazz and Classical for example. But nevertheless I think this amp with KT120 or KT88 is very good in all the frequency spectrum, so it should be fine for you in Rock and Metal. And of course, it`s very difficult to make a home recording that can show on KZfaq as real as it is... Cheers
