Taking a walk through the Prime 1 Studio Gallery in Tokyo, Japan. What's going on with Prime 1? Why are they hiding all of their statues?

P1 junkie here from the states. Visited last month and couldn't agree more. It's good their high end products haven't suffered the same fate as their gallery(yet) even though 2/3 of that Shinjuku space shows off their Cutie line. Plus, that space feels lacklusterly dated and cheapens the look of their products. Better to wait for Tokyo CC or Wonderfest for full effect.

I guess they figure out that most people are going to see the product online, but if they know that, why even keep the gallery open

Yeah I mean. The online stuff is great for reveals but if you’re showcasing your product in a gallery, why just keep recycling the same pieces time after time, year after year. Get people “in the door” to see things in person. Who knows, they might be impressed and buy it or at the very least, buy something else.
