@chris andrewes Chris, what really is scary, is the fact that the only two EU Nations that tried to unite Europe by force, were the French and the Germans...and who sit at the top table talking down to everyone else?...telling Ireland to "vote again, and make sure the result is a YES vote"...and telling Greece "No! you are not getting any more money"...when the people were rioting in the streets because of the lack of food. The Common market was a fantastic idea, where nations could trade without sanctions or tariffs...but once the EU got it's own "National Anthem"...and it's own flag, and currency (which thank goodness we stayed out of!)...and a ruling body (namely France and Germany)...and then started to tell our courts that they were inferior to the European courts, is it really any wonder the decent people of the UK wanted to get out? Chris, the country which you and i live in, has always been looked down on by the rest of the EU...no my friend, it's time to go....it's time to prosper on our own again, and make our own trade deals...After all, we were doing pretty well before we let the EU take us over.

No. In some countries, up to 4 generation descendants have the right to apply for citizenship but not in Turkey. At least one of your parents must hold Turkish citizenship.

I guess but then again Ian Duncan Smith is 1/12 Japanese, and I don’t think the people of Japan were proud or even aware of the leader of the opposition in the UK having very distant roots there, they probably didn’t care. conservatives don’t really bother much with their ethnic ancestry. Boris only plays on it when it serves him politically like when he was running for mayor of such a multicultural city, London. Then when he ran for Tory leadership there was no mention. Of it because conservatives don’t rely heavily on the minority vote

To those who are calling the Turkish people, I used to be a very long distance lorry driver, the Turkish people I have found are one of the most trustworthy people I have ever met. I hade an accident while in Poland and two Turkish drivers stayed at the side of my truck making sure my wife was safe until I had sorted things out with the police. This took about 3 to 4 hours, so don’t call the Turkish people to me...
