4 жыл бұрынEngineer and innovator from Ladakh, Sonam Wangchuk speaks to Ravish Kumar about the impact of diluting Article 35A that gave exclusive rights to permanent residents for land ownership in Ladakh. Mr Wangchuk however says that Ladakh had been long demanding being given status of a union territory and not be a part of Jammu and Kashmir. The bill to split Jammu and Kashmir into two Union Territories sailed through Lok Sabha on Tuesday, with some opposition parties walking out, bringing down the majority mark, and others siding with the government. Amid a political storm that started on Monday morning since Union Home Minister Amit Shah's announcement in parliament, the resolution was passed through a division of votes - 370 members voted in its favour and 70 voted against it. Abhishek Gautam I would have really believed u to be an intellectual had u not followed Ravish or similar journalists with tainted ideologies. He had to be positive at the end only because he was not able to put words in the mouth of a far intelligent and smart individual and had to agree to Sonam Sir to some extent. And btw last I followed Arnab was 5-6 years back. I understand what is unbiased and clean journalism.

By this logic, major cities like Delhi and Mumbai which have pollution problem, should restrict entry of people from smaller cities, so that the immigration does not escalate the problem of pollution and use of resources .

Laddakh should have a reservation in Article 371 like Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur etc.

Yes they are not muslim majority, so they should alteast some protection. Only muslim shud not given addition rights/protections, govt shud be ok with that, because they are just anti-muslim, anti-christian and anti-communist as Guru Gowalkar said.

I am from Bombay and I feel to keep a States identity it is very important to keep the person from other state to interfere the states . If an outsider wants to buy land for bussiness , Residential then it should be Restricted to Some Districts in the state. Outsiders will not bother for the Echosystem , Culture and many other things . Bombay originally belong to the Fisherman community , Adivasi , Agri people . Now because of Industrialization , Commerciallation these communities has lost its identity.This should not happen to Ladak.

पूरा का पूरा लद्दाख क्षेत्र एक ठंडा और पथरीला रेगिस्तान है जहां वर्षा बहुत कम मात्रा में होती है। कारगिल क्षेत्र जो पहले बौद्ध धर्म बहुल था, अभी पूरी तरह से मुस्लिम बहुल क्षेत्र बन गया है और बहुत जनसंख्या वहां से पलायन कर गई है। लेह क्षेत्र बौद्ध बहुल है। तुलनात्मक रूप से लद्दाख के बौद्ध लोग कश्मीर घाटी के मुसलमानों की तुलना में बहुत ज्यादा गरीब है। कश्मीर घाटी भारत का सबसे संपन्न क्षेत्र है कश्मीर घाटी वास्तव में विश्व के सबसे ज्यादा उपजाऊ क्षेत्रों में से एक है। कश्मीर घाटी में उपजाऊ मिट्टी स्वास्थ्यवर्धक जलवायु सर्वत्र जल की उपलब्धता इसे एक संपन्न क्षेत्र बनाती है। कश्मीर घाटी का मुसलमान एक आम भारतीय के तुलना में ज्यादा संबंध है परंतु इतना सब होने के बावजूद भी कश्मीर का अधिकतर मुसलमान देशद्रोही और भारत विरोधी है वहीं दूसरी तरफ लद्दाख के बौद्ध गरीब होते हुए भी देशभक्त हैं और भारत के समर्थक हैं।

Ravish Ji, this is a real interview where no Hindu - Muslim and hate narrative is concerned, no shouting and no blaming and only factual statements being spoken. Godi anchors and political representatives should learn from these men. At the end he is from Ladakh where everyone respect each other with harmony, sincerity and are soft spoken. Now we have UT without legislature, no schedule 6th or tribal status. Therefore, whole Ladakhi is surprised, baffled and very confused.
