The Sihlwald is a beech forest that originally covered around 80% of Europe. It has been a nature discovery park of national importance since 2010 and is no longer used commercially. As a result, the deadwood is increasing, which is important for biodiversity. In the Sihlwald, species can be found that were thought to be extinct in some places, but have been given a habitat again thanks to the "primeval forest". The hike shown in the video is very varied, is around 6 km long and takes just under 2 hours.

Ja, ich habe mir die DJI Pocket 3 gekauft. Bin echt zufrieden. Das Audio ist um Welten besser und die Tiefenschärfe mega schön.

Thank you Benjamin for an excellent and very informative video! I love the idea of a forest which is now being allowed to 'grow wild'! Thank you too for saying that you access the walk by taking the S4 from Zurich Hauptbahnhof. Gleis 21. However I notice from the Swiss on line timetable (table 712) that while the trains to Langnau-Gattikon are every twenty minutes, the service to Sihlwald station is only every hour.

Thank you for the praise. Glad you liked the video. Yes, from Sihlwald the train only leaves every hour. If you would want to walk till Langnau-Gattikon its about 2.8km and takes about 40min. So if one just misses the train it might be worth walking the one station. Best, Benjamin

Danke. Ich war zum ersten Mal dort und es hat sich definitiv gelohnt. Ich schaue mir dein Video gerne mal an. So als kleiner Tipp: Ich würde das Flipperkastenzeugs in einen eigenen Kanal auslagern, da es nicht zur gleichen Zielgruppe passt. KZfaq mag es nicht so, wenn man zu unterschiedliche Sachen in einem Kanal mischt. Ich denke, dann könntest du noch besser Wachsen. LG Benjamin
