In a world after New Dawn destroys the planet, humans retreat to underground bunkers. And New Dawn's Anomaly itself leads to the future Sterile world that it will create. The uninhabitable atmosphere is killing Connor, and the Predators hunt him, but luckily Matt and Abby arrive just in time! This Primeval Clip is taken from Primeval: Series 5 - Episode 6 (2011).

@@DanielPoole-wr3lj Not really no. This series was good just like the last 4. Really Primeval should have been scrapped in 2009 but they revived it in 2011 after making a deal to broadcast series 4 on ITV and series 5 on watch. As in this episode they try to make it to conclude the show at this and try not to end on a cliffhanger as they knew they probably get cancelled again. Honestly I thought that America spinoff show of primeval that got them cancelled the British show for good after they cancelled the America show in 2013.

I loved how the future became darker and darker each series. In series 2 you had a nice beach, future seals, sun shining, crystal blue water. Series 3: Destroyed buildings, deadly future predators and insects that have taken over the planet Series 5: Everything is dead or mutated whahaha😂

It's reasonably fair to presume the future seen in Series 2 is the far future, whereas Series 3 portrayed a more near future, not long after humanity became extinct. Series 5 on the other hand, well that was clearly an alternative future entirely due to the destructive power of the New Dawn machine.

The Primeval Site Yeah, exactly. I think your theory might be right, but i think the future in series 2 is more near. Before the future predators have taken over the planet. Just because you see future seals, doesn't mean people are dead yet. It could be an isolated area, where people don't really go. As the show said: The future is owned by insects. I think those creatures eventually also killed the seals or it could be around the same time, but different places in the world

The future in Series 2 had terrible weather though. There was lightning and thunderstorms in the background. I agree that the future got darker though.

I have a little fanon reimagining of the final scene, where the final anomaly split in two; one to just a couple years ago and one lead to where it normally did in the show. *The team runs out and instead of Matt turning around the corner, Connor does because he forgot some of his gear. He walks around the corner and gasps, completely speechless.* Voice: “Oh, what is it now?” Connor: “I… It can’t be! It’s you!” *The mysterious figure walks towards the screen, then the camera focuses.* Nick: “What is it this time?”

Adam Manneh I want series 6 to be like 4 years later and matt is trying to find his future self while Connor is trying to find the crew to fight the creatures and try find matt and the main creature of th e first episode is a dilophosauras.

As the series went on the future got darker and darker and change as the series went on. That future in series 3 might have been a alternative future not our.

I think this is like the future-future. Future Predator's are the only species capable of adapting and surviving to any environment; and we know Matt is from the future. It makes sense that this is what would eventually happen once the Predator's became the dominant species.

Is it just me or the future predator Conner sees after he gets pulled threw the new dawn anomaly the one in the bullet in its head the same one of a reference of when Cutter shot a future predator in the head at the end of series 1 (Its not in this vid but I thought I might as well say it here)

I find that the Anomaly in this episode is too much confuse, there are too many fragments and it doesn't looks like an Anomaly

I think despite increasing the size of the Anomaly CGI model, The Mill didn't increase the size of each fragment, which resulted in tiny fragments in relation to the overall size of the Anomaly, and a strange appearance overall.

@@ThePrimevalSite Yeah that's a good supposition! Anyway the CGI model of series 4&5 is way far from the original one, and I think the 1st model shouldn't have been replaced, it had a real "mystic" side that disappears in the last seasons...

@@profiyntroz5186 I was explicitly thinking that Helen wanted other species to thrive in the absence of humans and to ensure the Future Predators didn't exist. Instead, New Dawn kills nearly every species off, destroys the ecosystem to the point it would never recover, and the ONLY thing that can survive in it are the Future Predators.

@@giftheck yes, after new dawn there would be only future predators, it is right. But this Helen did not want. She wanted to kill hominids to let other beasts to evolute, So it means that then there would not be any new dawn, because there would be no humankind to make it happen. Understand? Helen's future would look a way differently, but nobody knows how.

@@profiyntroz5186 New Dawn was Helen's backup plan in case her plan to kill the early hominids failed. Part of her reasoning was because the ARC caused the future she saw to happen by creating Future Predators. Other creatures could continue to survive because humanity did not exist and thus did not create the Future Predators.
