Hi OT Rex! Yesterday I found out I PASSED! I'm so excited to be an OT! I can't celebrate this accomplishment without first acknowledging how much I used your videos to study! I was particularly overwhelmed by all the pediatric milestones, reflexes, and assessments but your videos were so helpful! I love how you organize your information and have fun creative ways to remember details. Thank you, thank you for providing this resource!

I found this great article that has videos and exercises for many of the primitive reflexes. wehavekids.com/parenting/Why-Babies-Have-Reflexes-and-What-Can-Happen-If-Things-Go-Wrong

Can someone please tell me why I tested positive for primitive reflexes with a normal brain MRI? My EEG was also normal. So how does this prove that people with primitive reflexes have brain damage?

You might have a retained reflex, I would visit and occupational therapist and get that checked out. It doesn’t mean that you’ve got brain damage.

the absence of a reaction of certain primitive reflexes often indicates a brain damage. However, most of us have unintegrated reflexes and no brain damage. Paediatricians do check for the ones that point to a brain damage - eg grasping, Moro, automatic gate - but not for all primitive and postural reflexes.

@@ihavenoname727 it may be a good idea to work with someone that does reflex integration work. You have options depending on which part of the world you live in. I mainly use Masgutova's and Rhythmic Movement methods and I see beautiful results. Recently I came across Dr Chikly's work and it looks amazing! Best of luck
