I NOW UNDERSTAND why stonemasons and bricklayers have apprenticeship programs.😜 Sift out rocks; add in binder; pack the cracks with the grout mixture. Use a trowel in addition to a shovel. For building this and other purposes, a kneeling stool would be useful and more in your line of country. Am truly enjoying the video as always. It is challenging to cook a small bit of beef as succulently as you have done. I have learned a good bit from this video! You employed a variety of rock types in making the oven. No explosions. I am amazed!

Loving your videos, for hubby & I they bring back many happy memories of our childhoods back when kids could be kids, we built forts in the woods & would spend weekends snaring rabbits, catching fish & unknown to us as barely teenagers, learning life skills. In our 50s now but we still head out, these days with the grandson to teach him these necessary life skills.

Next time if doing BBQ meat, do put 3-4 drops of oil on charcoal and put that piece of coal on meat, leave that pan air close and let coal do its work for 2 minutes. Than try that meat you'll be in heaven for sure 🤤

I love the idea of building an oven. To build it more sturdy will take time. Start with just stone. Put it together like a puzzle. If it is sturdy without the clay, then dismantle it and add the wet clay. I would focus on the oven first. The fire ring is a simple add-on. Great idea! As a person who has built stone walls, just thought I'd through an idea to you.
