I built this wood roof hut in the forest using only primitive tools and materials. It should be pointed out that I do not live in the wild and that this is just a hobby. It should be obvious to most that this is not a survival shelter but an experiment in primitive building technology.

it is perfectly alignment because it is a orchard, wood fire, furniture , building purposes , which means if the guy doesn't own the land he built the house illegal, or is just because they reproduce the forest ^^

Fritz, das war ungelogen eins der schönsten Videos, die du je gemacht hast. Von dieser Sorte und in diesem Stil würde ich mir in Zukunft gerne nochmal was von dir anschauen. Das wäre eine tolle Abwechslung zu deinen sonstigen Videos, mit einem ganz eigenen Stil und ganz anderer Stimmung. Und ich finds auch toll, dass du bei diesem Bauprojekt ganz ohne Werkzeuge, Hilfsmittel, Nägel, Schrauben und ähnliches ausgekommen bist. Finde ich ein faszinierendes Format. Gerne irgendwann mal wieder mehr davon!

Als ich Kind war, habe ich mit 3 Freunden auch eine Hütte gebaut, ist richtig klasse geworden, wir nannten sie immer Misthaufen weil alle dachten das wäre einfach ein Haufen von Baumresten und Heu. War schon klasse. Vermisse die alten Zeiten manchmal

@@KaeptnMS in der letzten folge bei 7 vs wild sagt einer dass es kaum tiere gijt gibt außer vögel halt und genau dann wurde die übelste zwitscher tonspur eingelegt, meiner meinung nach trägt so etwas unrealistisches nicht mehr wirklich positiv zur atmosphäre bei..

To all the people crying about how he stole Primitive Technology's video: If you read the description, it says that this is a tribute to Primitive Technology because he appreciates his work and effort and wanted to try his way of editing because he enjoys it so much. It's even in English, so 'I don't understand German' is no excuse. I don't understand all these people being so butthurt in the comments, neither he is stealing his views, nor Primitive Technology joined that discussion. Stop being offended on other's behalf.

Overall a great project. Love this video style. I think in this climate you want to have a fireplace inside the hut. So I would have gone for a wooden tipi like structure that was commonly used in Nordic countries. Easy to build and you can have the fireplace in the middle of the room. High roof minimizes fire hazard and the smoke can escape from the top.

This is actually a really cool video. And the only reason he's wearing winter clothes is because he lives in Northern Europe in the dead of winter. So why is everybody complaining? This is fantastic content.

Finde das Video Geil (da ich auch ein großer "Primitive Technology" Fan bin und alle seine Videos durch habe XD) Und das beste daran ist wie es uns perfekt veranschaulicht wieso die ganzen großen Mega-Kulturen der Antike im mediterranen (bzw wärmeren Klima) Regionen der Welt aufpoppten wie Pilze und die südlicheren (uhm keine Ahnung im Süden war glaube meines erachtens nie sonderlich viel los (evtl noch krassere Bedingungen...)) und nördlichen Breitengraden war erstmal tote Hose ... einfach erschwerte Bedingungen aber naja es mussten halt eben andere Materialen herhalten zB Tierhäute/Leder und Sehnen .... was nunja nicht so leicht zugänglich ist und mit etwas mehr Aufwand und Risiko (Jagt) verbunden ... als mal einfach im Wald paar lianen einsammeln (mir ist durchaus bewusst das es auch in deutschen Wäldern lianenartiges gewächs gibt ..aber wer zweifelt der sollte sich mal einfach die Videos von "Primitive Technology" anschauen und weiß sofort was ich meine ;D) Super Video =)

Bis heute mein liebstes Video zum Thema Bauen ohne Hilfsmittel von dir. Da noch ein Keller rein mit Bodenklappe, Kaminofen, Bett und Anbau mit Klo und schon hat man ein gemütliches Ferienhaus 😬

Not trying to be a hater because I can appreciate the work put into this, but this forest looks like young and the trees seem to be planted symmetrically in a line. I could be wrong, and a forest is a forest but I find that a forest that has sprung up naturally to be more challenging than one that has been planted. In nature right angles don't exist and (unless it's a natural occurrence) forest trees don't grow in lines. Again not trying to be a hater just sharing my thoughts.

Don't forget that almost all forests are new forests. There are VERY few places that have old growth forests haven't been cut down and regrown. Just a question of how long since the last clearing.

That's a good point too! I hadn't considered that, but I also live in Canada and most of our natural forests are untouched (with exception to highly populated areas) so that may have influenced my perspective
