Les lives in my hometown and I have met him a hand-full of times since I was 13 (the first time I met him I was a young kid in a full Boy Scout uniform). He is indeed the nicest and most down-to-earth musical genius you could hope to meet. I went to his wine tasting room and he was randomly there, he signed a poster for me on the spot. Les, we love you.

Les, you can't go wrong. Keep making music. I have every single thing you ever put out. Also a collection of you tube video, etc. All these years, It never gets old, only better. 💟

Les Claypool is one of the reasons I picked my bass back up in the first place after a year of switching guitar. So hell ya they are influential. Among other things of course hehehe (I love that beaver)

Danko Jones interviewing Primus. I interviewed Danko once before a concert, he was cool, got the rock'n'roll spirit. Claypool made me tune my old guitar all the way down though. Brown Album, oh boy.

The former manager of the Maritime Hall in San Francisco is a substitute teacher in my county, and he said Les was one of the most down-to-earth people he'd ever worked with.

Thank You Les claypool, him along with Tye Zamora are the reason I play bass today, granted I will never be at the level that they are on, BUT IT GIVES ME A REASON TO KEEP PRACTICING, PRIMUS SUCKS, ALIEN ANT FARM RULES, gotta love Bass lol

You must be new to their music. "Primus Sucks" was a popular phrase chanted when they were rising in the 90's. It is an Ironic term of endearment. It is basiclly the fan's way of saying Primus is awesome.

Who the hell is Les Claypool and Primus? I think he's somewhat of a bass player? Until I hear him play the theme to Seinfeld and play it correctly, do NOT call him a bass player.
