@@juicyjay831 I saw both bands in the early 90’s too. Your father and I are probably around the same age. The first time I saw Primus was at their infamous Woodstock 94 performance. It was a blast. I've seen Primus about 7 or 8 times since then and they always put on a great show. If you get the opportunity to see them, you should go. The first time I saw Tool was in a club shortly after they released Undertow. I saw them again 4 years later, and they were headlining Lollapalooza. In just that short amount of time, they went from playing clubs to playing in front of 20,000 people. It was crazy.

The problem most people have today is only listening to mainstream/radio when there are thousands of great talents out there just waiting to be discovered on the internet. They are just too lazy to seek them out and prefer other people telling them how to think and feel about music instead of thinking for themselves. I guess the pressure is on to not be that "weird dude" who has some odd playlist on their phone. Kids these days tend to flock to the Chosen Ones on TV based on some washed up musical "authority" opinion of what's good and bad, and tbh most of it sounds like total dogshit to me. Why don't they let people call in and vote for what they like instead of having 4 judges decide. Rotation is rigged from top to bottom.

@@kellyyoung6137 every single primus is a new experience when you focus on Larry instead of Les. He can either be another lead that’s just quieter in the mix or just making sound effects with chords that would hardly be considered music on its own if it wasnt primus
@bcain37292 жыл бұрын
@@Jaxsonn-ph4ey But if you listen he does the same thing over and over on beat so those crazy sounds aren't mistakes. He's got some crazy music bouncing around in his head. @Jaxsonn-ph4ey2 жыл бұрын
@@bcain3729 totally! I didnt mean for it to sound like he was just playing random shit. Sometimes the distortion can mask the chords he’s playing. But its really hard to pinpoint his style because he provides so many layers that can either sound like white noise (without focusing on it) or carry the song. Personally on the tweek again is my fav Ler track. Cant agree more that primus is underrated but i like it that way. Its too niche for everyone to enjoy so let the die hards nerd over it:)

of all the side shows going on in the background, my favorite is the man on fire casually walking by in the beginning of the video. i replayed that part several times and you notice when he first walks on screen the flames are only up to the middle of his back. by the time he gets to the other side the top of his head is on fire. you can see him speed up or broaden his last step as he exits off screen, probably because he was getting slowly engulfed. i didn't think about it before but that "theater smoke" was the fire extinguishers quickly putting out the fire. at :43 it looks like Les casually sneaks a look to his left to check out the action off set. please mr. krinkle tell me why i have watched this video too many times...

@Rigidity11 • When they're choosing the order to shoot this whole thing in one shot, I'm certain setting someone on fire inside of a building with a ton of combustible stage props and people around needed to go pretty early. It's also not lost on all of us that the person who wrote this comment wants everyone to know that they are gay and or gay friendly as if that would or is important to anyone at all or will ever be!!! I'm straight but do I have to have a symbol or purposely make it an issue for everyone to know what my sexual preferences? So WHY do homosexuals make it an issue,so everyone and their mother knows who they have sex with!????;!!??? Put the flag a way please pretty pretty please 🙏 I'm sure you pray 🙏💯 so please please 🙏 put the gay flag a way and represent yourself without telling everyone that your gay no1 cares. represent yourself on your own ideas and character and then we'll see how far that gets you maybe that's why you've been running off the gay flag for so long. But in all seriousness I wish you all the best god 🙏😇 bless and I'm sure I'm going to 💯 get a big back lash for this but in all seriousness it's worth it I love you guys muuaah!

@Random Entertainment what's the issue with what I said I'm not a Jesus fanatic I love all people but I just don't understand why everybody needs to know everybody else's sexual preference, I've never felt the need to give everybody else or tell everybody else what my sexual preference was or is! By the way FYI there was a time I was confused and didn't know which way it was going sexually( by the way I'm not saying I'm gay or not) but now for you to tell me that I'm wrong in thinking and feeling the way I think and feel is f'd up, I have no problem with you feeling the way you feel I believe you are entitled to that. But for you to hate me and or accuse me of being some of type of homophobic bigot is the farthest thing from the truth and if anything it makes you the you ignorant jerk the thing is is homosexuals now are becoming the majority and you all are becoming the bigots
