@@stylecakes26 Your attempt to slander Prince Philip is appalling When Prince Philip made that statement, he was attempting to bring the world's attention to how cultural practices in some countries contributes to the high infant death in those countries. He was attempting to encourage wealthier countries to do more to help poor improve health care for pregnant women and infants in countries with high death rates for mothers and newborns. Prince Philip was identifying one of the barriers to reducing the infant mortality rate in some countries. You are correct that Prince Philip was the father of 4 children by one woman. That is a vastly different situation than in some of the poorer countries where polygamy is still culturally acceptable and is still practiced. In these countries in which polygamy is CULTURALLY acceptable, one man may have multiple wives (sometimes between 2, 3, 4, 5 or more wives) with each wife sometimes having between 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or more children. In some of these countries, which practice polygamy, health care is sometimes poor and expectant mothers and newborns don't get the prenatal care, postnatal and neonatal care that they need.
