This is the equivalent of an ivy league professor subbing at a Community college. And all the students are like wait....what chord!? How did you do that lick!? @teeoh9192 I'm glad you liked the video I hope it helped you 🤟 I use 10s - elixers. Great strings. Expensive but have a beautiful high tone and work with my Martin. Vibrato is so important and I just develops over time. Gary Moore has wonderful vibrato and acoustically Tommy emmanual is the GOaT x

@@Ritchie2324 I'm playing on an old semi-beat up (but recently set/cleaned up) Martin D15, & I hope to make it sing like you do on yours! I came for the Prince, but stayed for that vibrato! Plus, you pick hard like I do, but I've never seen/heard anyone actually make it sound as good as you do! Thank you, for the inspiration you've provided for me, & all the other players out there! Dude - Just checking in. I fucking smashed it man! Took me a month to get it fully but thanks to you I totally nailed it. . The best thing about the whole learning the tune thing (and one I immensely thankful to you for) was the little pointers along the way while you're teaching it. "Learn A Blues Scale", "Know where the notes on the fret board are" Well I took all that on board as I was learning. Mate Level Up innit! I'd post up my version to show you but that's a bit weird so I'll just chill and say a massive THANKS MAN! I suspect a scouser in there so If you're a Red like me then boss. If you're a bluenose then I'll forgive you. Knucks and much respect man :-)

@@Ritchie2324 Sound man. Having started (thanks to you) on my penatatonic blues scale journey I'm moving on to Hendrix's (Acoustic) Hound Dog. I might even might try and attempt his only other recorded acoustic track "Last Train Callin'" I might as well throw it out there. If you know either of those (there are you tubes clips of both- included below on on vid Also a couple of tutorials that are good but I'm thinking you would boss them both) And fancy helping a fellow Red and you fancy attempting a vid of either of those - I'll dance at your wedding. :-) In return and maybe in the spirit of quid pro quo. I promise to post up my efforts of both and my version of your version of 'Cream' (although that second 'lick' where he slides down from the 12th is a bastard!) I'm game. I'm giving myself until NY's Day 2022 to boss all three.
