I can't believe that there are SO many Prince songs that I have no idea about... and Brenda (my Patron) set me up with a good starting list - but this was me going rogue lol, just to see what I stumbled across - and I was not disappointed!

If you want to build viewership and followers on this Prince journey, PLEASE go back (at least close) to the beginning. Also, that's best if you just want to appreciate his genius as a new fan. I've been on the bandwagon since "Soft and Wet," but "1999" and "Little Red Corvette" is where things really took off for him (once MTV was born).

Prince was a Icon and a Legend he WAS music. He had over 75 fully paid fully done videos we have never seen. He has over thousands of songs we never heard. Man did classical music and released a killer track. His B sides be it 17 days or erotic city are better then most of todays best songs. Go back and start at the beginning. Go watch Purple Rain. Go watch Sign o the times, hear his many hits, then for fun go watch Dave Chappelle story on Prince. His greatness may never come again.

Prince his acoustic sets are so much fun. I think if you hear the original, recorded version 1st, these sets may be more enjoyable. He was the very best live performance you could experience.

💝💝💝 Ahhhh, Prince. One of a kind, and he knew it, too! In live performances, he was ALLLLLLLL over the stage! Versatility off the scale, over the decades. This is a fave Prince song. Other faves off the top of my head: "Work," "My Name is Prince," "P-Control," and, "Vavoom." Also his live performance of, "Billy Jack B!tch," on an awards show...forgot which one. Brave of you to admit your lack of familiarity. I won't tell. Bless all the way up! Mahalo from Kauai!💖💖💖

There are so many live Prince performances worth watching for a myriad of different reasons. For early, eccentric, erotic Prince "Head" is a classic (I'd say Ritz '81 or Capitol Theatre '82, the Detroit rendition is charming but I prefer him with a guitar). One of my favorite later performances is from Montreux '09 "Empty Room", the guitar solo is lovely (I am not a guitar expert so I'll let others suggest other examples of his talent). The cover "Motherless Child" is a fascinating opportunity to see how well his interacts with and directs both his band and the audience.

Prince is amazing 💜 His talent is endless. Yiu should definitely check out some of his earlier work next. Let's Go Crazy the official video or Controversy the official video are from the early 80's. Prince is an amazing performer you shouldn't just stick to his live performances. All of his videos are fantastic.
