I so love the orderly, organized manner in which these ceremonies are conducted. I noticed that the Duke and the Duchess had different, concurrent duties to perform, so everyone had the opportunity to be seen and greeted. And it was such a beautiful day to boot! ❤

Two of the ladies in the last group seemed completely oblivious of proper royal protocol even though they knew they were to have the honor of meeting them personally, showing up in baggy trousers and not a curtsy in sight. Sadly unmannerly.

I spotted the Duke of Hamilton towards the end of the public ceremony, Hereditary Keeper of the Palace of Holyrood House and the Hereditary Bearer of the Crown of Scotland.

Prince Edward is more like his father, doesnt seek any attention, just get on with the job, and happy to be in the background, its wonderful to see how he is stepping up to help his brother and the RF as a whole. Truth be told Prince Edward and Duchess Of Edinburgh are the rock behind the Late Queen, such wondeful down to earth couple. Long live the RF 🇬🇧🇬🇧

I was in Edinburgh on Friday, May 17, but I was not able to see the Ceremony of the Keys. Unfortunately, I left on Saturday morning and also missed Prince Edward's appearance at St Gilles Cathedral on Sunday.

Edward and Anne are the true MVPs of the RF.
