As for the level 3 rating, many Canadians and Americans I know have gone recently and come back with glowing references of their vacations there, making me green with envy. I just recently went to the Dominican republic and had my iphone stolen. I have never seen so many warnings about theft and where to go safely as I have seen in the DR. What is Their level? Americans can be really cool, that is why I am so surprised that they have been so tone-deaf in the matter of the diplomats. There is a fundamentalist church or other church on practically every few corners in that country. The are generally very homophobic. I was at a very high end hotel a number of years ago and heard a gay man in the hotel shuttle joking about how they tricked the couples-only-all-inclusive resort into checking them in by registering with a lesbian couple and then switching rooms once they got there. The hotel did not kick them out, but the staff looked quite uneasy. LOL Anyway, all this Harry and Meghan stuff is quite the storm in a teacup, in my humble opinion. People should just mind their own business. Harry did not ask to be born into the royal family. At least Meghan had a choice. Anyway, has anyone noticed how much like his ancestor (Charlotte) Harry looks. Same freckles, hair etc. The black blood in the royal family has come out in the most charming way in him. I am sure that is probably why he took offense at all the racial slurs against Meghan, and his unborn children.
