It did not "start with joyous optimism" for the couple. Charles never stopped loving nor seeing Camila. That's one of the reasons Princess Diana was so unhappy. The British people knew this and she was always more popular than her husband. This is not a sister of Harry or a daughter of Diana. This is likely Diana visiting children in a children's ward somewhere at a children's hospital, orphanage or other such place. And especially note the small table in the background is an adjustable hospital type table. Ditto for the type of paneling on the wall here? She did things like this all the time.

I thought it was from before Diana. I read an article about 20 years ago that included a photo of Charles with Dale Tryon, holding a baby girl, but I don't want to get it wrong. Another article said that Dale ended up in a mental facility, and died there. On a website where you could link up all the people related to the royal family, there was nothing of Dale or her daughter. I was sure this video was going to be about that daughter, but it was not.

It turns out that Princes William and Harry have a step sister that we practically know nothing about. Their sister is called Laura Lopes and she is Camilla Parker Bowles' daughter. Since marrying Prince Charles in 2005, Camilla decided to keep Laura out of the public eye, and so far has retained much of her privacy.

I know Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh (RIP) was the one who had a secret sister who had to be hospitalized and needed lived long term care. Philip's mother too was in/out of the hospital for mental health issues. I think that's maybe a mixup here but I've never been aware of a "secret sister" for Harry and William. And also, in that famous Diana Panorama interview which is referred to in this video - "there are 3 ppl in this marriage, so it got a bit crowded" - Princess Diane is obviously referring to Camilla! Lol despite all that, I admit I enjoyed the interview as I've been watching the royals on and off my entire life. This is just another textbook example of how easily it is to take a simple quote (like this one from the late Princess Diana) remove its context, and make it fit into whatever you need it to. In all honesty, I was a young girl when the Royal wedding happened. It made me feel hopeless… I thought that no matter how educated, poised and beautiful Diana was, her fairytale wedding was to an elderly, fugly sissy. Then come to find out he was cheating on her after she had two of his children…. Yet Everyone kept calling it a fairytale. I couldn’t help but see it has a hopeless nightmare, one every a little girl should be warned against. I am married a younger than me, successful, and very handsome man 30yrs this year. I am no one’s princess and I don’t have to have a cast iron stomach and I refused to forfeit my sexual attraction for a marriage. I’m sorry Diana did not feel she had that option in her fairytale. 😑
