Breaking news in Australia this morning: Buckingham Palace has reacted to the Nigerian tour. King Charles has written to every head of every Commonwealth country to let them know that any visits by Harry and Meghan are NOT to be viewed or treated as a Royal tour. I would say he is enraged by their disrespect and poor behaviour in Nigeria. Her not smiling at the gathered school children, her refusal to wear the gifted dresses, to allow her to cover up, her inappropriate clothing, the use of HRH, the use of their titles, the playing of the UK National anthem, and Harry’s “inspecting” the Military leaders would have been a step too far. I would not be surprised if Harry was removed from Invictus altogether, as he did nothing to promote them. I still don’t think this is enough. Until King Charles strips them of their titles and their Royal status, Harry and Meghan will continue to run riot and the British Press will go soft on them. They are terrified of being sued and the cost of litigation. I think the UK Government will have to step in. They are making the country a laughing stock. And Charles is making a huge rod for William’s back.

I think the monarchy doesn't want to appear to be racist as they don't want to antagonize the Commonwealth countries. I think maybe the better choice would be for Parliament to act. These titles are given by the British people, in essence. I believe Parliament could act on behalf of the nation. If the Prince title is being abused or flaunted, this is a government matter that needs to be addressed.

It was the Nigerian Defence Corps who financed this visit by Harry and MM. It was not arranged through the Nigerian government, the Prime Minister never met with them. This is why the people of Nigeria are not happy. The veterans of Nigeria are not well taken care of and yet the Defence Corps pay for H&M to visit. This is NOT a good look for any of them.

My anger is shifting to the King. I know he's got cancer but where is his sense of duty to his mother's legacy? I feel like he's not tough enough on his 'darling boy'. According to the articles I've read, her great, great, something, IRISH grandparents in the 1800's (also some English and German along the line ) lived for a time in Malta and then moved on to the US. During that time they had a couple of kids including a girl that is an M ancestor. I don't think being born in a country where you are living temporarily counts as being ethnically Maltese. And as far as the Nigerian connection, M has genealogy going back to Civil War times ) and nothing mentions Nigeria. If there was anyone brought here from there, that's a pretty long stretch to claim. I agree with those that think she made it up to bring the Archetypes focus back on herself when talking at Ziwe,

@@RoyalNewsNetworkI find it rather ridiculous that Invictus management and Harry's PR team haven't (or maybe they have, but swept it under the carpet) checked the Kuduna hospital for veterans' controversial background, where private patients, being paying patients, get priority treatment over the wounded shoulders and the fact that Nigerian press reported on several occasions that veterans are not receiving disability benefits. But did H inquire about that? I haven't heard a word about from Invictus nor Harry. And hosting Invictus games in Nigeria would be, short to say, extremely dangerous

I worked at a hospital in East Anglia. We would frequently see William when he was a pilot for the air ambulance. He would just walk through the foyer, having dropped a patient off in accident and emergency. You registered, Oh, that's one of the helicopter team, he's very tall, Oh, it's Prince William! All the public almost went out of their way not to notice him or make any sort of fuss at all.

What are the RF supposed to do with Harry and his wife who are based in the US. The world has been informed that Harry doesn’t represent the Crown but some decide to treat them as representatives isn’t it those that treat them as such who are a problem? Look at the US, you allow Harry to give out military awards and yet you should be in the know. Who is then giving Harry a platform? Do you see the BRF treating Harry and his wife the way US military treat them or the way Nigeria gave them a platform?

I'd like to think that behind closed doors the King's actions are having more of an impact. I honestly feel the RF are playing chess and considering the bigger picture (M&H may well be the author's of their own demise); M&H are not that smart or patient. What is wrong with America too? Their home is America. Harry confirmed his residence is US where they live as private citizens. So a US non Royal citizen and her husband who's home is the US have gone to Nigeria on a private tour. So questions need to be asked of governments on both sides of the pond. The Britush Nigerian ambassador made it clear they were not represented the British govt and I think the US Nigerian ambassador should have also spoken out. The Britush Royal visits are at the request of the British government it's not Charles but the Government who have to stand up.

I dont think their action damage the royal family brand. The royal family is more popular than ever. Even Camilla popularity is soaring. I think it’s partly because you see the contrast in behaviour and also the sympathy you get for the royal family.. I think H&M is ruining themselves and strengthening the monarchy- but it’s not good because they also create a lot stress for the royal family. I fear for Catherine’s health.

Her attempt to validate her "black" roots fell flat and failed in wearing the pale colored, backless, "flesh" toned dress in Nigeria. It highlights how very different her skin tone actually is, rather than how much she is like the citizens of Nigeria. One would think that dressing in Nigerian fashion of the day would endear her to the people there. King Charles IS NOT an absolute Monarch and that the discount Duke and Duchess titles can only be removed by Parliament. Prince Harry (HAROLD) is a PRINCE by birthright, it cannot be taken from him except under some very obscure reasons. Then they, according to protocol, would be called Prince and Princess Harry. Do you really want the Discount Duchess Grifter to be able to call herself PRINCESS HAROLD - take away the Duke title and he reverts to PRINCE HARRY and she becomes PRINCESS HARRY and it would take her less than a nanosecond to drop the HARRY bit.

We were beyond lucky during all those pesky Covid lockdowns, huge garden, old farmhouse, 300 square metres (ca 3200 square feet) living space, my parents for babysitting in walking distance, 5 minutes drive to the sailing yacht in the yachting harbour, 5 supermarkets in walking distance (Americans only can dream of this), 50 minutes commute to Munich, 2 trains per hour, *monthly* ticket price: 49€ = 55$, alps for skiing 30 minutes drive. Life could be a lot worse 😁 (From our second floor, European counting, third floor US counting, we can see the castle)

The other thing about the Sussex Squad excited behind the wire fence. I remember when William and Catherine went on their official Tour to Jamaica, and the supporter's behind the wire fence, we calling them over, and they went over to shake hands through the fence. It was splashed all over the press in a negative way, even though famous black footballer was doing the same, they cut him out. I noticed that Harry and Meghan made a point, not to approach the fence. It was the Sussex Squad shouting the loudest in disgust, when William and Catherine did it. At the football match there were hundreds calling them, hence why they went over, the fence wasn't erected because of them, it's the norm, around a sports field there.
