My husband had pancreatic cancer at 54, was in treatment for 18 months in Boston. He was an architect and worked 5 days a week, during treatment (sometimes took the day after off towards the end) till 3 months before it all ended. He was happy to be at work, continuing a normal life. He was able to continue coaching his son’s ski and soccer teams again till the last months. 14 years and I still miss him everyday.
