Nicholas hit it out of the park with his Henry ❤ even though the book and movie's been from Alex's perspective, His Henry gave audience the visuals of his inner turmoil, insecurities, helplessness, heart break...not with words but just with his eyes ❤ even here u could feel his Henry's love for Alex just from his expressions.

This scene in the Victoria and Albert Museum makes the movie that much sweeter. Victoria and Albert were one of the very few royals who married for love and not for political reasons. They called it a marriage of inconvenience. And now 100+ years later, another royal is going against tradition to be with someone he loves.

I think it's so incredibly meaningful how Henry gives Alex his Signet Ring and in turn, Alex gives him the key to his house in Austin, because in my opinion these two objects are their anxiety grounders, for Alex, the key is a way of reminding him his roots, how far he and his family have come since their days in Texas, and for Henry, his ring is a reminder of his responsibility towards his country and his duty as a member of the royal family. Throughout the movie, there are so many instances where we can see Henry fidgeting with his ring in tense moments, and even in the Buckingham Palace scene we see him reaching for it before realising Alex is wearing it. I think that Henry giving Alex his royal ring is a way to impart some dose of realism to him, reminding him of their duties and the challenges they may face, while for Alex giving Henry the key to his home is a way for him to tell Henry that they'll always have an identity beyond their public selves, and that more literally, Henry is his 'home' now. and also I don't know if anyone else noticed but at the end when Alex takes Henry to his childhood home, we see he's wearing his ring again. Alex gave it back to him because he no longer needs to have part of Henry. he has all of him, with him, always. this scene is a slight deviation from the book (in the book Alex doesn't give the chain to Henry, he attaches the ring to it, 'two homes beside each other') but I think it's much more meaningful and beautiful the way it was portrayed in the movie.

I love this story. I used to think that nothing would overtake my love of the Heartstopper series, but this movie does it. I love the writing and the acting of the two main actors, their chemistry was just superb.

When Alex tries to kiss him, Henry refuses and smiles a bit. That smile helds adverse pain. As he's still not outta the shell he refuses and the music fades with just a mild tune. That's deep and aches so much where we could feel Henry's emotional turmoil very personally. Actually, Henry is wounded more than Alex himself! Later after turning back, he cries mildly and heads back quietly. It literally made me cry! What a movie it is! ❤

I think the casting choices are what literally MADE this movie. Taylor and Nick have such great chemistry and banter that you can't help but root for them. let's also please talk about Nicholas' acting, because you may not realize it the first time you watch the movie, but since the beginning it's so clear from his expressions, or even just his eyes, how much he loves Alex! I've known about Nicholas from his role in Cinderella, but this role right here has made him one of my favourite actors, he can act every subtle emotion with just his eyes and it's so wonderful to watch! and Taylor, my god. he just EXUDES that effortlessly boyish charm that defines Alex, such a perfect casting choice. his anxiety or his imposter syndrome and self-doubt are so wonderfully characterised with these small subtle actions, not taking centre stage, but still perceptible. wonderful, wonderful job by both the leads, and the casting director, who for sure deserves a raise.

This might be the best scene in the film. I seriously had tears as soon as “Can’t Help Falling in Love” came on. Just beautiful filmmaking. The 🔥🔥 acting chemistry, the voiceover, the dance, the music and score. 10/10 I hope Amazon gives us a sequel!!

One of the greatest scenes in cinematic history! Henry at his most vulnerable sharing his “daft pubescent fantasy” with Alex! Then Alex, not only listening but actually hearing Henry without even hesitating freely gives Henry the fulfillment of that fantasy!! Just an incredible selfless display of honesty and love! Then Henry, still being vulnerable, asks Alex to be “patient with him so that he can be brave for us and our love”; absolutely beautiful! Both actors through their talent and skills created an incredibly beautiful and authentic scene and brought it to life!!! Job well done!!!! To borrow from Henry’s description of his favorite movie, this scene is the swooniest I’ve seen all year (and really, one for all time!) The chemistry between Taylor and Nick is SO NATURAL; they really sell the genuine love between Alex and Henry in a way that you just can’t manufacture. ❤ And while I would certainly not have complained if the dance included a kiss (because those are ELECTRIC), I kind of like that there isn’t. The way they look at each other, the way they hold on to each other, the way Alex brushes Henry’s hand, it really says it all. These two are undeniably each other’s lobster. ❤️ History in the making, indeed! ❤️

The young ones have Heartstopper, the teens have Young Royals, and then us adults have Red, White, and Royal Blue......so far! This is a great new era for queer content. EDIT: To be clear, I don’t mean these shows and movie are limited to certain age groups, but it’s nice that we now have some forms of queer entertainment aimed at certain age groups, and as adults we can enjoy them all.

The scene in the museum is brilliantly conceived, with brilliant writing ("No one was around to gawk at me."), brilliantly filmed, convincingly acted. The way you'd dream two people would be confessing their love for each other. And could there be a clearer indication that they are meant for each other than for Alex to be ready to fulfill Henry's "daft pubescent fantasy." When you fall in love there is a moment when the two people prove that they are on precisely the same wavelength no matter how different they seem to be, and one says or does something that the other only dreamed of in his or her seemingly farfetched fantasies. This is that moment.

It's just soooooo sweepingly romantic. This scene is absolutely beautiful, and Alex and Henry's love for each other is in full display here. I've seen this movie so many times at this point and I still get choked up whenever I get to this scene.

Oh, I just love this scene so much❤. I love how Alex not only heard Henry state his "daft, pubescent fantasy", but listened, understood, and made it happen. In that moment, he showed Henry he was gonna be there for and with him, loving him through thick and thin, and Henry knew it too, giving him the reassurance he needed that Alex's love was truly genuine, just like his for Alex. Plus, the little hold Alex has on Henry's wrist the morning after is so cute😄 it's like Alex is making sure Henry isn't gonna run away from him again. So obsessed with these two and this movie, it makes no sense😅❤

I have never rewatched a film as much as I am doing with this one. The chemistry between Nicholas Galitzine and Taylor Zaklar Perez is definitely the icing on the cake. Like a lot of other people I would willingly sit through a four hour plus film if it followed the book word for word. Until then I’ll just keep watching this beautiful film.

This will ALWAYS be my favorite scene. Actually, from the moment Alex arrives to "storm the castle" until the end of this scene are the BEST and most emotional for me.

They portrayed this scene so beautifully, in fact the whole movie was heart warming, there was a sweetness which made my heart mushy from the beginning. It also kept me on a chokehold feeling, i was desperate to see them happy. Just loved the movie nad the chemistry.
