It's clear as a crystal how Prince respects his Dad history and memories. The amount of times Prince says "my dad" this, "my dad" that, shows it. Michael was a good person, any good person seeing his kids growing to become a man and respecting his history would be proud of their sons. For those who never grew up in the 80s will never fully understand how massive Thriller was. It was literally a world wide event which captured everyone's imagination. Michael Jackson made one of his best albums alongside Quincy Jones the Legend of the music business. They had all the right people on the project and we also cannot forget the amazing Vincent Price either. There will never ever be another era like the 80s when some of the best music was created. Today's musicians don't even hold a candle to the greatness Michael Jackson had. It was truly a magical time of my life being a young teenager. I will never forget it.

Fun fact: My grandmother was a longtime housekeeper for Mr. and Mrs. Jackson. She'd bring bags and bags of stuff that Mrs. Jackson would give her tons of things gifted to them. I still have A LOT of items from my childhood. Also, a more fun fact: I attended a Christmas party at this house and met them. Michael wasn't there because this was during his Thriller days, however, I later saw him and he waved at me and said, "HELLO!" at Neverland where my then boyfriend installed all of his sound system in the movie room at Neverland. What an impressive young man. Michael clearly was an immaculate father, and the sense of duty Prince has give to those less fortunate is not a coincidence. Prince has hundreds of millions of dollars in a trust which continues to grow. He is clearly quite brilliant and no doubt well educated. He could have been doing very little of value and simply spending his father's money. Instead, he is comitted to continuing his father's legacy of giving. I would imagine that his grandmother is incredibly proud.

The Jackson family is an epitome of parenting. The grand Jackson beat and polished all of his many children to a greatest, sober and god fearing fulfilled life. The second generation Jacksons chose less strict, loving upbringings, resulting in yet another host of fabulous, disciplined, self depended and respectful successors and citizens. Kudos to the Jackson family, long live your legacy ❤❤❤❤❤❤

What a sweet guy! I love to see it when celebrity kids continue the legacy of their parent after the parent has passed. MJ’s legacy is massive and substantial, and it means a lot of different things to a lot of different people…and honestly, Prince seems to be a perfect ambassador for this project. I just turned 45 and MJ’s music, his videos, and just his undeniable presence in the entertainment and pop culture zeitgeist of the ‘70s, ‘80s, and beyond essentially shaped large portions of my childhood. I even still have pics of myself from Halloween of ‘84 wearing red leather pants, a Members Only jacket with MJ t-shirt underneath, a studded baseball cap, and one glove covered in rhinestones, whilst also carrying a microphone, of course lol. I also have countless memories of myself and my siblings jumping around uncontrollably to the Thriller album on vinyl, doing everything in our power to extend our bedtime by “just 5 more minutes!!!”. So many good times. Damn, I miss the ‘80s!
