The golden years of the Ottoman Empire come to life in a television series. The life of Suleiman the Magnificent is preparing to be a guest in your homes in all its glory. Get ready to experience the era with ambition, loves, wars and all the struggle.
Prince Solomon, with his closest man, Ibrahim Pargam Ibrahim receives the bad news in a hunt. His father Yavuz Sultan Selim Khan passed away. Prince Suleyman sets out for Istanbul without waiting. Prince Süleyman quickly reaches the capital. He attends the culus ceremony without waiting. His life changed in one day. He started his life as Sultan Süleyman.
Meanwhile, a galley loaded with slaves coming over the Black Sea is heading towards Istanbul. The hottest of the slaves is not yet aware that he is on a journey that will change his destiny. He is rebelling helplessly to return.
Sultan Süleyman wants to show what kind of sultan he is by the commands he gave on the first day of his sultanate. But not everyone will like these decisions. Sultan Süleyman does not hesitate to challenge all of Europe with the messages he sends.
Alex, despite all his rebellion, is brought to the Topkapi palace. His attitude attracted the attention of Valide Sultan from the first moment. But it won't be long before Alex learns the rules of the palace. He chooses a great target. Alex, Sultan Suleyman's first night on the way to attract his attention. Sultan Suleiman's wife Mahidevran just arrived from the palace of Manisa. He is looking forward to seeing his wife.

Bu sırada, Karadeniz üzerinden içi köle yüklü bir kadırga, İstanbul’a doğru gelmektedir. Kölelerden en ateşli olanı ise, kaderini değiştirecek olan yolculuğa çıktığının henüz farkında değildir. Geri dönmek için çaresiz bir şekilde isyan etmektedir.
Sultan Süleyman, padişahlığının ilk gününde verdiği buyruklarla nasıl bir padişah olduğunu göstermek ister. Ama bu kararlar herkesin hoşuna gitmeyecektir. Sultan Süleyman ise gönderdiği mesajlarla, tüm Avrupa’ya meydan okumaktan çekinmez.
Alex, tüm isyankarlığına rağmen, Topkapı sarayına getirilir. Onun bu tavrı ilk andan itibaren Valide Sultan’ın dikkatini çeker. Ama Alex’in sarayın kurallarını öğrenmesi uzun sürmez. There is a proverb in our culture, "The thief doesn't want his son to steal." Similiar to Mahidevran and Mustafa. While Mahidevran herself wasn’t very likeable, she raised her son to be a lion.

yeh Hurrem lost againts Nurbanu, Rustem died like a dog, and Mihrimah lost and left the palace even in a worse way than her aunts. Who won at the end? Did Hurrem win? I dont think she did. Couldnt protect her children

Mustapha always was respectful to Hürrem! The fact that, here, raised his voice to Hürrem, didn't make him disrespectful! He wanted to protect his mother! And people found a way to accuse him that Mahidevran always made him to see Hürrem and her kids as enemies!

She had to cope with hatice kidnapping her mother for almost an entire year so obviously she is going to resent them. When Suleiman was sick also mahidevran was planning to put Mustafa on the throne and Mihrimah could not tolerate that as it's treason

Did you remember how Mihrimah betrau him, while Mustapha was by her side and he wanted to see her happy? Did you see hate to his eyes about his siblings?

I never got between my mom and whoever when she started it unless she motioned for it. But someone else starts it then all bets off. But Mustafa made a very stupid mistake here. One she is the lawful wife of his father and he just belongs to a concubine and being firstborn doesn't guarantee the crown. those were just lies that mahi filled his head with.

There is a reason why everyone in the empire wanted him to be the sultan and Mahidevran to be valide. NOBODY wanted hurrem and her sons except for suleiman. Hurem made father kill his son, and that way ruinned ottoman dinasty by killing the best and seting hers incopetent drunk son. She admited to Mustafa that she wishes he is her son, so they dont have to fight a war. She wanted to save her children by any price. She is the one leading the war. No one is sinless in this series .. it’s human nature .. we sin, we err, we repent .. everyone is playing hard to survive , to triumph , to protect themselves n loved ones … it must be a fair play .. but after watching the whole series , maturity is understanding Hurrem is devilish n great success does not equal goodness . After all evilness will never win .. in Judgement day it will be seen once for all .

What? Mahidevran literally stormed into Hurrem's room screaming at her, and then Suleiman stopped her from slapping Hurrem. She then went crying to Mustafa, saying Hurrem "attacked" her. Mustafa is easily manipulated and completely out of line.

She had Mirimah, who was the Sultan's only daughter. Mirimah was the most powerful woman in the dynasty, and she stood up for her mom after Valide passed away. Just an FYI, Hurrem's sons did stand up for her, especially when people were being disrespectful towards her in and outside of the palace.

I don’t think mahidevran is a bad person like they show in this series. She raised mustafa as great sehzade she never fed him with bad thoughts always told him to obey sultan.Mustafa knows he is only support his mother have so he always on his mothers side no matter what.we would have done the same if someone shouted at our mother like this.

Those times were like that & they had to do that so that their own children would ascend the throne. I just feel it's unfair that everyone in comment sections of these videos say that Mahidevran is evil for killing Mehmet but Hurrem isn't because she did it to protect her children. They remember the time when Mahidevran poisoned Hurrem while she was pregnant but forget the time when Efsun tried to poison Mustafa by hurrem's command. They forget the time Mahidevran saved Mehmed & the time when Hurrem blamed little (Maybe 5 year old at that time) Mustafa for setting the Harem on fire thinking he (THAT LITTLE KID) tried to kill her son. {Btw I am talking about the scene when Sadika saved Mehmed & Mustafa from fire, you can find it in a little clip just like this one}

I've also stated that I felt sorry for Mahidevran until i realized she's the snake that she calls Hurrem. They have each done horrible things to each other. But let's not forget who started the war, let not forget who set the tone for their war and lets not forget who hides behind Valide and Ibrahim to do her dirty work. I get you're a Mahidevran fan but let's be honest her jealous and evil ways caused her down not Hurrem. Sulieman stopped sleeping with Mahidevran because she questioned him and bullied one of his Harem with the help of his mother and when she sent poison to his table she sealed her own fate. Not to mention Valide warned mahidevran to stay away from Hurrem and she did not listen. She became obsessed with brining Hurrem down. When Hurrem came into the harem she was to learn the ways of the harem. Valide was unjust and bias. Mahidevran was mean, sneaky and a bully. Hatice sad a dull and Gulfem a follower, the Kalfas and Eunuchs were cheats and liars who did favors for coins . These are the Sultanas/ teachers who set the tone for what happened in the Harem. Hurrem learned from them and she became the monster they created. Had Mahidevran worried about her son and saw the Sultan when it was her turn and stayed out of the Sultans/Hurrem business the War between the two ladies wouldn't have started. instead Mahidevran wanted to intimidate Hurrem, she wanted to break her spirit and show her that she was nothing but a slave. This backfired ten fold and she ruled the day she met Hurrem.

None of the characters were good hearted, just neutral like suleyman, gulfem, mustafa and the other children. All the others were evil, hurrem seemed to be the alone because she was able to stand up for herself and what she wanted while mahidevran and the others only wished.

I think people dislike Mustafa because of his mother. Mahidevran believes she innocent, she believes Hurrem is a snake when she's actually the one who created this problem. Had Mahidevran played by the rules of the Harem instead of showing how jealous she was Hurrem would've never raised to such power. Mahidevran gave Hurrem the ammunition and Hurrem to the gun and ran with it. Mahidevran raised her son well but she included him in her pain way too much, children should never have to carry the weight of their mothers pain the way Mustafa has.

Mustafa had no right to berate Hurrem like that. I understand he was standing up for his mom and all but Hurrem yelled at Mahidevran in self defense cuz she started it. It would’ve been better off if Hurrem didn’t lash out but she couldn’t help it. after all, anyone in her shoes would earn the right to get defensive in situations like this. It’s not her fault he happened to walk in at the awkward time. thanks to this confrontation he came to the delusional conclusion which is everyone’s thoughts that Hurrem is the villain😒

Can't believe your ll are defending a two faced cunning manipulative woman that murdered so many innocent people including innocent children like raziye sultan (Sulieman s daughter from Valeria Hatun) and Rana Sultan (favorite of Sehzade Bayzeid and so many other people like Mustafa s son Sehzade Mehmet and in the harem not to mention plotted the deaths of so many other people and cornubines. I understand that most of the characters did a few bad things but Hurrem was the purely evil one, she only cared about Sulieman because she got her power from him. She never wanted him to die because she knew everyone just hated her and that even her children supported Mustafa as the next Sultan. If she truly loved Sulieman she would nt have always been plotting behind his back and causing him to lose everyone that loved him. His family loved him but they always adored Mustafa and hurrem could nt accept that she was nothing compared to Mustafa in the eyes of the ottoman people. She s a real loser because she needed a man and his love and favor to be powerful. Whereas a winner like Kosem Sultan didn't need a man and was super loved by the ottoman subjects. Hurrem is nothing compared to Kosem or Mustafa, they truly deserve the throne and love.

it doesnt matter, Hurrem only saw Suleyman she loved him. She also knew you cant have 2 queens in a bed or a castle. one was bound to overthrow the other concubine or freed. Hurrem won and between Farya and Ayse, they both did each other in by their own hand or not... in Kosem. RL there was no Farya and Ayse never killed herself. Wether or not Hurrem had anything to do with Mustafa dying, Mahediveran thought it was funny about Mhemet. @Dreamfyre it’s not true, watch again. The concubine sent by Hurrem was the reason Mahidevran was annoyed at Hurrem. She’s many things but she’s a fierce mother protecting her child just like Hurrem. Hurrem had infiltrated the concubine with the specific purpose of eventually killing him. Mahidevran poisoned Mehmet much later because Suleyman began to show favouritism towards him. Hurrem wanted to kill Mustafa before Mahidevran killed Mehmet. Mahidevran had actually saved Mehmet as a baby.

Last scene when Valide Sultan supports Mahidevran. Last scene when she is against Hürrem. I start hate Mustafa from this moment. So blind by his mother and his grandmother. @@marymofid2005 Hurrem made so many faults, that's true, but she wasn't the one who started the war with anyone. Therefore, many of her actions were quite expectable and comprehensible...

@@urosurosevic5184 You love evil people dont you? Poisoning a Prince is a Capital offence and Hurrem should have been executed just for that. Everybody provokes Hurrem as she doesn’t want peace with anyone. She pretends she does but she cant handle peace and happiness. She is drama queen.

Mahidevran is damn spineless, she can never stand for herself, and uses mustapha for everything, mustapha keeps fighting the sultan and that leads to his death. Hurrem is 1000 percent better than mahidevran.
