oh my god! Another prince of persia game O_O!! About damn time. Oh, dear! The warrior within skin is so nostalgic. And the detail on it. Sargon's swords have transformed into the lion and eagle swords of the Prince in Warrior Within! This makes me so happy ^^!

For those who don't understand, POP just went back to its ORIGINAL 2D source: OG Prince of Persia started as a 2D platformer game,it was just basically just running, jumping, climbing and dodging traps in order to reach the exit. When Ubisoft gained/bought its rights, they turned it into 3D hence the 3D trilogy (and the other 2 stories too) we know well!! Ubisoft just gave the good ol' 2D platform a chance, the only difference they gave it the Metroidvania touch it well deserved!!

As someone who grew up playing Prince of Persia since PoP the Shadow and the Flame of '93, myself and I believe that I represent everyone else who loves this series, we thank Ubisoft for completely destroying another franchise. Bravo! Bravo!! What is this design? You literally made a game of the early 90's by a non-existing company, look more realistic than this monstrosity. Ironically, someone did say something clever and inquired if it would be a dope idea to design a DMC game like this one. Damn that's cool and it reminds me of the brothers being I the MVC series. So it is plausibly a nice mini game

I don't think that's a good comparison. People hate DmC because they're going for a laughable, super edgy tone of the story and characters, as well as a developer who acted like a big whiny baby who's disrespectful to the source material. Even with the fact that the game is good with its own merits, fans would rather have the game be a new IP instead of a reboot of an established series. Here, the devs wanted to make a fun side game without making a big fuss about it. There's clear love being put here. The fact that the team behind this also made Rayman Legends helped.
