Hi Nick, great piece about Prince Ruperts Tower, I went to Liverpool Collegiate G.S. which is about 300 yds further down Shaw Street towards Islington, a piece about that iconic building, which is now appartments would be great. Everton Brow, and the tower were rallying points for the L.O.L. on 12th JULY marches.

Greetings from Thailand, Great video Nick it brings back a lot of memories for me I lived on Everton Brow where that new white building is being constructed In what used to be John.F. Kennedy Heights ( 1 of 3 tower blocks of that name) my bedroom on the 5th floor gave me a view of the tower as I woke up. The building on Shaw Street in between was always in a bad state of repair and I always thought it would be demolished but I see it has been refurbished and is looking great.

I got took to it about 30yrs ago by my Bluenose mate, it was just a grass hill then from what I remember and it wasn't straightforward to find. He reckoned it led to a tunnel under the Mersey to Wallasey 🤩I'm up there regular, you will have been able to see Gt Orme's Head, Moel Famau, and Snowdon when it's clear as that.

Interesting video. Some people have suggested the Everton badge comes from a Victorian pub that had a round tower decorative aspect. Dunno whether there is any truth to that. But it would be interesting to see any pics of that pub. Rupert's tower is slightly shorter than the EFC badge so I wonder if there is at least an element of truth that the badge was a synthesis of 2 towers. Strangely there doesn't seem to be any reference to this pub on the internet nowadays.

So much interesting liverpool history, what about the pyramid in the churchyard near Hope street, does anyone know the origin.

Hi Nick great vid once again 👍I asked you to visit Everton Park some time ago (for it's fantastic views) I was wondering if you could do a flyover of the water tower in Everton (of Breck Rd ) I live nearby and would love to see it from a different view

May be when that Cross was taken, since then Evertons luck has been awful!! Need to find that cross 🤣

Due to the fact that Goodison Park is being relocated, it would be great in bringing the two together and relocate St Rupert to the Bramley Moore site. Just a thought 💙
