It's true, as the saying goes, 'you learn something new everyday' and I just did - l didn't know that the Prince William the Prince of Wales wore the Red Uniform and the Bearskin helmet. He looks very regal and his back is as straight as a ram rod.

The horse he is on is one that arrived a few days ago, they showed him being unloaded . He is a big guy for sure and so beautiful .

Love the guardsmen uniforms. Prince of Wales is so handsome and has a great presence. He is a great role model for his children and other people. He is a great horseman and Darby is beautiful. They have a great together. A man and his horse.

Yes! He's a leader and very kind as well. I keep going back to that video when they were little and Harry stepped on his toes and William said, " Harry, don't tread on my toes, it's okay, you didn't mean it." 😢

Im American, but number one:I adore William and Catherine and think he looks unbelievably stellar in all he does and especially here leading the troop. And number two: the whole display with the uniforms, the confidence, the display of the horses and riders......it goves me goose bumps. Its beautiful. I wish our country could back to taking pride in who we are as a collective but the powers that be dont want it and stir division 24/7

In the real thing, today, King Charles was leading, riding the spectacular black horse, Noble, that he was recently given by Canada. You can see he has a more fancy bridle. Prince William was in the row immediately behind, along with the Duke of Edinburgh (his uncle Prince Edward) and his aunt Princess Anne, wearing her splendid hat with the Red Plume (never to be forgotten).

Interesting some horses have white rope or metal chain tie-downs. I wonder if it’s significant as I see no correlation with a different uniform. Anyone know or is it just what they tacked up with that day?

Such a beautiful festive n tradition. Many countries (maybe including my country 😓) almost lost their identity in the name of modernization n full of dirty politicians (at least King n Queen are neutral). Not easy to keep thousand years tradition nowadays (even of course they're mordernized already).
