I bought one of these about a week ago. Works well. It can get clogged up if you are over eager and try to force too much material in too quickly. Dry material chips nicely. Wetter material doesn't seem to chip as good. The gap on either side of the cutter head seems to be a downfall. Small twigs and debris can get wound around, not get chipped and jam things up. Again, patience is the key. It'll do what it is supposed to but give it some time to do it.

I tend to feel that at least for the smaller stuff, a chipper/shredder works the best as I've seen smaller debris not getting chopped as much compared to the larger branches. What made you choose this model compared to a chipper/shredder?

this thing is 110db extremely loud, why dont you wear ear protection? and also why do u have ur kids or sitting kids outside like that with also no ear protection, they are young and they are close, thats very loud for a child too. maybe your hearing went bad but that doesn't mean its okay to damage the kids ears.
