Princess Irene Buthelezi, the late wife of Inkosi Mangosuthu Buthelezi, has been described as a selfless and exemplary woman.
She passed away on Monday and was laid to rest today.
Her husband of almost 67 years Prince Buthelezi paid her a moving tribute while president Cyril Ramaphosa lauded her for her resilience. The funeral service was held in Ulundi, in Northern KwaZulu-Natal.
