This syrupy genre is sickly sweet. There is some important news, an elephant in the room that is being glossed over. Never before, at least in the last two centuries, has a senior royal not been seen publicly for over 6 months. As far as we know, there are NO KNOWN CASES in any western country where a cancer sufferer, or a patient of the most serious abdominal surgery cannot communicate with someone, at least over zoom. We do know that fake videos and photos have been put out about Princess Catherine, one an AI Catherine, announcing she has cancer. Despite the seriousness of Princess Catherine’s health status, we are not getting authoritative news coverage. Rather, we are getting these bizarre sickly sweet bios. It seems like journalism has vaporised in Britain. The media is usually unstoppable in getting the scoop its readers want. Yet, for such an important situation as Kate’s wellbeing, there is media paralysis. If professional media fails its readership, the public will step in to try and make sense of what is going on.

Here’s what the BBC said about that “AI” video: A BBC Studios insider confirmed that the video was unedited. The footage aired was exactly what was captured by the BBC team, who have also covered significant events like the King's Coronation and Queen Elizabeth's funeral. BBC Studios clarified that they had no editorial influence on the message's content, were not involved in distributing the video, and made no alterations to the recording
