A Rose bud that just began to bloom, yet the winds of life came like a storm , the cold came, just like a frost that prevented the rose from coming to full bloom, and the rose withered and died before it ever got to maturity, to full bloom, as the cold was her husbands coldness towards her, the storms were the family that she went into that surrounded ans crushed her, and the sunshine that should have given her warmth would be her husbands love which never warmth her heart and in the end she died from lack of light, that never shone on her to bring her love from within into full bloom, now may you bloom to fullness of love in a land where you know no darkness , no coldness , nothing only sunlight to make you come to full bloom

I cried for a solid week I’m exactly to the day 11 months younger than her she had a rocky marriage and so did I we both got divorced we both had sons born in 1982. My granddaughter will turn 1 on prince George’s birthday July 22. I think what hurt me the most was just the fact she was leaving behind those children and that she was just now starting to live her life for her. I don’t think she was gonna get married she just got divorced she just wanted to have fun and feel free. Yes I was devastated to and I still feel pain for her I miss her . I’m sure she’d have been a great grandma , and it’s a shame she’s not here .I stayed up all night that night till they came on and said she had died , but when they showed pictures of the car I thought it’d be a miracle if she was alive . I love you Diana Spencer .

@Anne Walden You should show a little more empathy towards both Diana and her mother was eighteen when she married Diana's father who was thirty. She had two daughters and was under pressure to produce a male Spencer heir. When the baby boy John was born next he only survived for a short time. Diana said she felt unloved because she was meant to be a boy. Charles was the Spencer's youngest child. After all the trauma, it is quite likely that Diana's mother may have suffered from Post Natal Depression. Diana also married a much older man when she was nineteen and they were completely unsuited. She wanted her marriage to work but their differences could not be resolved. I don't believe that Diana deliberately set out to have affairs but, she must have been terribly lonely and devastated at the breakdown of her marriage when it became clear that there was no hope.

@PixieD I too feel sorrow since her passing, and believe her life's purpose God blessed her with, was a task only she could do. He gave her our future King, HRH Prince William. She raised him with Love, Patience, Caring for his needs, Happiness, Strength, Respect for others, Intelligence, Calm Natured, Benevolence, and Prayer and Appreciation for God's will for him to be King. All of these gifts he learned from his Mom Diana, grief wasn't one of them, yet he had strength to carry on - make the right decisions, find his future Bride, Queen and Mother of his Children in Catherine, be Loyal to her and the Queen, Graduate top of his class in University, work as a Military Medic Pilot saving Lives, Marry and be the best Father to his children and love his Country. Most of all not be "a tortured soul", by teaching his children the happy memories he has of their Grandma Diana, which replaces his grief with love❣️ 💜👑🇬🇧🙏

@Colleen Wenquist I agree, she will always be beautiful. She brought up both son's to respect Royal Protocol and Prince William, the future King has. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge carry on the Royal tradition to their 3 Royal children. Her son Henry, did not. He was a difficult child, Prince Charles admitted he didn't know how to handle his sons bad temper. So no, I don't believe Princess Diana would be rewarding Henry's bad behaviour, or approve of his poor choice's, like publically selling Lies for money!!
