Yes she was backed into a corner but the king is out of action because he also has cancer and Will and Kate where stepping up. Yes they are entitled to a private life but they are royalty and constantly in the public eye and they need to keep the public in the loop. I live in America. I love the royals , I’m 59 & have followed them since I was 15. I think it is absolutely terrible! How these people talked horrible and made jokes over Princess Kate being unseen! Wow! When you’ve been told major surgery? That should be enough! Everyone that truly loves the royals have never seen Princess Kate ever absent! So shouldn’t these other people know that too? Privacy & respect should have been generously given to the princess & her family! It’s so sad it wasn’t and she was forced to tell her personal business that should have been private. I’m praying for her & her family everyday!

I think we can all understand now why the Queen's motto was never complain never explain - for situations like this one. Just to clarify, the Princess was not bullied into making the announcement. She had decided a couple of weeks ago to do this. The original statement said she’d be back after Easter. She needed to make the statement in order to clarify the situation about her not coming back to public duties when originally expected. She in no way owed us any more health information. She is entitled like everyone else to privacy and that includes medical privacy, whether we pay for them or not.

Taking multiple photos and assembled it together , they lied to the world that it was taking for Mother’s Day and releasing a video at the farm with Kate and William.also body double even a blind will know that it wasn’t Kate.
