Welcome to MojoPlays, and today we're ranking all of Princess Zelda's designs. Nintendo has created some flawless designs for Hyrule's princess, but they aren't all home runs. We'll be including cartoons and spin-offs just for fun! Which Zelda design is your absolute favorite? Let us know down in the comments!

That Zelda was the only one who felt like a princess, not princess as in a pretty girl like the others but a princess in the sense that she is royalty. Most of the others give this "your friend in a dress" vibe while Twilight Zelda gives of a genuine air of authority.

TP Zelda just screams badass royalty. She's the only Zelda that gives off a true "I am Royalty" vibe. But she's not above pulling out a sword to defend her own people either. A Perfect blend.

While Twilight Princess felt more realistic and Skyward Sword Goddess outfit is very elegant, Breath of the Wild/Tear of the Kingdom design is favorite because she is blend of royalty and adventurous.

Disagree. This was before any incarnation of Zelda was considered a princess. I like SS Zelda because she’s the only one that doesn’t feel like a princess.

Being a nostalgic baby, I’m particularly fond of Ocarina of Time’s design, especially seeing that specific incarnation/design of her depicted several times throughout the series’ history with different technology of the time (very fitting lol). From Ocarina of Time, the 3D remake, Smash Melee and Hyrule Warriors ❤

I dunno. U think Twilight Princess' Zelda would've worked so much better for her design choice in Smash Ultimate. It WAS after all an *ahem* ultimate Zelda to take on the ultimate challenge she's had to face so far! Not just Ganondorf, but Zant as well!

Zelda, like Link, should have used her Breath of the Wild design in SSBU instead of a mixture of her A Link Between Worlds and A Link to the Past designs.

Great choice on putting the Twilight Princess version on the S-Tier, it's the most iconic look of hers, can't tell me otherwise

Twilight Princess Zelda is iconic. I love the character of Zelda in Skyward Sword. But based on design alone nothing tops Twilight Princess Zelda.

I was kind of sad they didnt put Twilight Princess Zelda in Smash. I like that one better than what we got. I just love Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword period and would rank those games at top S tier anyway. Also kudos for Hyrule Warriors. I like the designs of the characters in that too.

I don’t see the appear of the BOTW and TOTK designs. I mean I expected them to be ranked high due the popularity of the Wild series but I wouldn’t put them past B tier. But I’m also surprised that OOT Zelda didn’t get an S tier ranking. She had 3 different designs that were great.

Sinc Fujibayashi considers Wild Zelda the strongest version of her predecessors/incarnations, why couldn’t he and Nintendo make her a playable character in Tears of the Kingdom? This Hylian royal scholar has so much potential with in her! And we only get glimpses of her time travel adventures in the distant past. If they haven’t canceled the DLC plans, we would’ve have a companion story content where we can explore the Hyrule of that era while learning more about the Zonai Origins and provide more in deph background of who Ganondorf is before becoming the Demon King.

Do you have any proof of this “canceled DLC”? I think everyone was hoping they’d do that, but I never saw any definitive answer that they were actually planning on doing that. The only thing definitive about DLC that we got was that they have no plans to provide any DLC for TotK…..

@@Lor_Duck: I did not know that! But if it’s like the last Hyrule Warriors game, it won’t be canon and will basically be a parallel/alternate timeline. When I found out that Age of Calamity wasn’t canon, I lost all interest and stopped playing. If Imprisoning War isn’t canon, it won’t sell well, and I won’t spend my money on it.

Fellow cdi Zelda design truther, the design would be S tier if the animation wasn't done in MS paint. This version of Zelda is more of a fighter as seen in her own game and the design suits it well, personality wise she was pretty good there too, pure no nonsense energy

Zelda/Sheik are two of the 14 newcomer characters along with Young Link, Roy, Pichu, Peach, Mr. Game & Watch, Mewtwo, Marth, Ice Climbers, Ganondorf, Falco, Dr. Mario and Bowser in Super Smash Bros Melee (2001).

Nobody at Nintendo signed off on the CD-I games nor their designs. Philips just got to make the games due to their original partnership, that eventually fell apart. During the scope of the partnership, Nintendo agreed to have two Zelda games on the CD-I system. Even though the partnership fell through, the agreement was still there and Philips got to make those games even without any input/approval by Nintendo.

Cartoon Zelda is my favorite. She was shown as a true fighting ally for Link and I can't help but think the color palette influenced future Zelda designs. Waiting for that game to showcase her, everything the CD-I version wasn't but wanted to be.

Since the Make Me a Widget at the City of Cologne Germany Gameplays have been cancelled ended by El Salvador and Faith is Key Christ Savior and Partners Gameplays. The Human Teletubbies Gameplays also have mostly been cancelled ended, and updated to a Zootopia Teletubbies Gameplay. What perhaps should be done with Princess Zelda? Maybe Make Me a Lego Through Gene Splicings Gameplays?

Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, A Link Between Worlds, Hyrule Warriors, Breath of the Wild, and Tears of the Kingdom are all easy S tiers. I would have also added Oracle of Ages & Seasons Zelda to S tier given the art design. The added cape just makes her look so adorable.

The Legend of Zelda is my favourite video game serie of all time and Princess Zelda is 1 of the most beautiest and strongest female video game character. Twilight Princess is my favourite Zelda game, because wolf is my favourite animal and I love Midna. Twilight Princess Zelda design is still my favourite, because she's brunet and purple is my favourite color. I like Ocarina of Time, Skyward Sword, A Link Between Worlds, Super Smash Bros, Wind Waker and Breath of the Wild Princess Zelda designs. Botw Zelda is better, because she have longer hairs.
