I believe the world is changing in big ways that haven’t happened before in our lifetimes but have many times in history, so I knew I needed to study past changes to understand what is happening now and help me to anticipate what is likely to happen.
I shared what I learned in my book, Principles for Dealing with the Changing World Order, and my hope is that this animation gives people an easy way to understand the key ideas from the book in a simple and entertaining way. In the first 18 minutes, you’ll get the gist of what drives the “Big Cycle” of rise and decline of nations through time and where we now are in that cycle. If you give me 20 minutes more to watch the whole thing, and I will show you how the big cycle worked across the last 500 years of history-and what the current world leading power, the United States, needs to do to remain strong.
I hope you find it valuable and look forward to hearing your thoughts.
You can buy the book on Amazon (www.amazon.com/Changing-World...) or in bookstores nationwide.
Key Sections:
1:33 - How I Learned to Anticipate the Future by Studying the Past
8:00 - Changing Orders
11:38 - The Big Cycle
18:26 - 500 Years of Big Cycles
18:45 - The Rise
26:16 - The Top
32:01- The Decline

How about post WW2 history - The Sustained Growth of The Internazi Neo (Lib-Con) World Order..... Had the chance of nuclear supremacy but instead allowed our cultural enemies to gain nukes while letting Paper-clipped Nazis and their US Fanz take over the Military-Industrial-Scientific-Data Junky Complex... Nice.... NOT!.... USians hey... -- Not sure if Putin is till on-board with them or not to be honest, or whether they really have ditched Russia... Ramped up their domination in the last 40 years by heavily invested in unscrupulous foreign nations to get round Western standards..If you defy the NWO they proxy war you, or shock & awe you... If you choose Neutrality they spend a lot of time provoking you into joining them by carrots & sticks.. -- INSIPID, like the USSR / Putin / China / Islam / Catholicism - GLOBALISTS... The NWO is proving to be everything we expected it to be.. Global Corporate Communism in the West where Corporations own the means of production, and The State and The Government, and increasingly the housing stock.... In the East its State Capitalism, where The State owns The Corps that own The Means of Production... -- It is not free market capitalism or communism, it's the worst of both systems, as a Libertarian Nationalist. Of course, you can trace the roots of the Internazi Neo World Order back to wherever you like, as their modus operandi is as old as civilisation itself... Forced Mass Sales Scams, absolute monetary control, lording it over The Renters, The Neo Serfs.. Social Credit is as old as the hills... Tiered societies, free speech and unbiased press stamped on from above, and below by Fanatical Followers..

The money system is completely changing. The US paper dollar is going bye bye. BRICS are going to trade with their own currencies. That will bankrupt us real quick. The good news is that the US corporation will go bankrupt. Along with the satanic elite global slum bankers and their central bank. We became a corporation in 1871 and will become a republic once again soon. We either go bankrupt as a corporation or switch to a republic and wipe away all debts. That is what is coming. Deep state loses, we win!!!!! You’ll see. Surely Dalio knows.

Do you think monetary inflation (due to government corruption) is good for an economy? Did you vote for Trump or Biden in 2020? Edit: Lmao, imagine writing more about Trump than Biden’s insane levels of corruption 😂🤦‍♂️
@dorianphilotheates3769
@dorianphilotheates3769 Жыл бұрын
@@jeffw8218 - Inflation is not good. Government corruption is not good. I voted for neither. I’m not an American - but even if I was, I would vote for neither. Power has permanently shifted away from the public and into the private sphere. It no longer matters who governs. All who occupy the highest public offices in the land are placed there simply to carry out the agenda of their corporate masters. It’s abundantly evident that “the game is rigged”. Biden, like several of his immediate predecessors, is a willing pawn of the corporatist oligarchy; Trump was an aberration, but not because he was a “political outsider “. He differs from the bog standard issue politician only in so far as he is himself one of the 0.001%. What he lacks in manners, education, tact, sophistication, and political savvy, he more than made up for with the brand of vacuous populism and the kind of boorish entertainment appeal which greatly resonate with America’s ‘hoi polloi’. The corporate class and financiers of Wall Street got to thinking of cutting out the middleman and putting one of their own number in charge. In this way, they could pass whatever legislation they wanted so that they could continue to deregulate the business system. Unhindered by any real opposition, they could thereby further erode democratic institutions and disintegrate what was left of the middle working class in America. Because, you know...”Too Big to Fail”...”small government”...”Big Business”...”innovative entrepreneurship”...”rugged individualism” “free enterprise”...”Invisible Hand of The Market”...”fiscal responsibility”...”capitalism for The Many, socialism for The Few”...”greed is good”, and all the other charming fables of corporatist mythology. For them, you see, it’s never enough....it’s never, EVER going to be enough. It all seemed like a good idea at the time, but of course, Trump was such a massive embarrassment that they couldn’t get him out of The Oval soon enough. And naturally, Trump being Trump, he was not willing to go gracefully, which caused even more embarrassment...Yes, giving ‘The Donald’ executive power was a massive blunder for his rich cronies: for one thing, he’s got a really big mouth and very little grey matter, so this winning combination often threatened to expose the shenanigans of the plutocratic misanthropes. Well, in the end we all saw how well all of that turned out: the owners of the world are not likely to repeat THAT ingenious experiment again any time soon...

If u apply the metrics and compare them like he claims he has done (does not include the data on china is his book tho), then u will find, that china is actually in a similar spot with the USA. BRICS seeks to create a new currency, considering gold's historical role as a store of value and medium of exchange. The discussions and proposals surrounding BRICS nations' potential use of gold are intriguing. People choose to buy gold for various reasons, such as its historical role as a store of value and medium of exchange, its potential as a hedge against inflation or currency devaluation, and its relative scarcity compared to other commodities. Gold also offers diversification benefits to investment portfolios due to its low correlation with stocks and bonds.

Organized, simplicity, frugality, accomplished liquidity. I encourage what Mr. Dalio suggests, we can live below our means, or said another way, make can more than we spend, through simplicity and frugality. We lack nothing, are healthy, content and grateful for the opportunities, which the United States has provided for our family. Now, we all need to respect the rules of simplicity and frugality to accomplish liquidity and get the United States back on track. My husband and I both are grateful that we came from humble beginnings. It is those simplicity and frugality values that have assisted us to be debt-free for the majority of our 59 years of marriage!!!

China is a poor man's Japan. When Japan lost WWII, they re-started their industry and made a lot of cheap products, but they got better, because their nation has pride. China had been shut off from the world since WWII until Clinton allowed trade to China, so their industrial revolution was late. They are like Japan when they got started, they produced cheap products in mass. However, they don't allow free thinkers in China. How are they gonna be innovative? They steal technology. The government are afraid to give free reign to people. A brilliant man may invent a device to kill all of China's leadership. Chinese government are afraid of informed geniuses among their population.

Nay, it is only a trial, but most of them know not! قَدْ قَالَهَا الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَمَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ Verily, those before them said it, yet (all) that they had earned availed them not. So, the evil results of that which they earned overtook them. And those who did wrong of these will also be overtaken by the evil results for that which they earned; and they will never be able to escape. Do they not know that Allah enlarges the provision for whom He wills, and straitens it (for whom He wills). Verily, in this are Ayat (Signs) for a people who believe! And strain not your eyes in longing for the things We have given for enjoyment to various groups of them (polytheists), the splendour of the life of this world, that We may test them thereby. @lyndafayesmusic
@lyndafayesmusic 2 жыл бұрын
Ha, funny to read your conclusion--This being MY book; if I had written one, it would be "about" how "unconditional love for humanity" IS possibly more important than the concept of " World Economics ?" I was engaged to a guy from New York, Manhattan Island, actually, he always talked about his high school, "Stiverson?" I think. He and I continually debated this; Him being an economic major, and an art minor he said just for fun and some easy units !). and me being a Sociology Major, and a Music minor from California. He took a job with a company in Van Nuys, "Hooker Headers"..I'd thought a funny name back then; He had worked his way up to a position of Manager of the J.C. Penney, a Tire company on Manhattan Island, BECAUSE, he said he loved race cars, and knew how to get supporters just by "working with and around" these types of people. Though I never have liked "loud noises", I'd accompany him to his racing the car they titled " The Penny Pincher"...financed by JC Penny, of course. A good-lookin' hard working, determined handsome man, George Jasous had also played football with the "Jets." ("Great exercise and good planning in the brain," he'd say! ) Unfortunately, George was not a great "health enthusiast," and he passed away at quite a young age; I attributed that to the "stress" involved in his economically superior ideas... He used to take me to night clubs and listen to me sing, and our debate would always ensue over and over. He'd say "Economics Rule the World", and I'd continue to contend, the "heart" rules the world. No one ever won the debate, and we also, never married. I did learn that his suggestion of "working in and around the types of people who are successfully active at what you "think" your own goals are" holds merit.. but I still am writing music, avoiding the stress of the "performance", and am not a quitter. But the debate still remains....George sort of had an "Unconditional love" toward ME... I still pursue ""Unconditional love toward humanity." Not having the tenacity to write the full symphony, nor the book, I'm sure I will someday write a song dedicated to George... Not " Born in the USA", it would instead be " Born in Brooklyn"...Never met a New Yorker who was a quitter, ha. Economics may rule the world, but I still contend, that love for ones fellow man, still rules the world. (George would say I'm just dreaming!) . Perhaps I felt compelled to write this, because I see some high school students really APPRECIATING this video..so well done, and by a great speaker, too. "I Ain't no Middleman" Fred Gold & Lynda Faye RIP George- He was never a "middle man" either. LyndaFayeSmusic@gmail.com

The pathway to substantial returns doesn't solely rely on stocks with significant movements. Instead, it revolves around effectively managing risk relative to reward. By appropriately sizing your positions and capitalizing on your advantage repeatedly, you can progressively work towards achieving your financial goals. 🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:00 🌍 Ray Dalio emphasizes that the future will be very different from our lifetimes, but not unprecedented when looking at history. 00:39 📚 Dalio has studied the last 500 years of history to understand the changing world order, including the rise and fall of empires like the Dutch, British, and US. 01:18 📖 Dalio mentions his book, "Principles for Dealing with the Changing World Order," as a comprehensive source for understanding these changes. 02:01 💵 Discusses how the U.S. defaulted on its debts in 1971, shifting from the gold standard to paper money. 03:27 🎙️ Recalls President Nixon's announcement that suspended the convertibility of the dollar into gold, effectively defaulting without explicitly stating so. 04:25 ⏳ Explains that similar events occurred in history, specifically in 1933, teaching him to study the past to anticipate the future. 06:24 💡 Reveals the principle that when central banks print a lot of money in a crisis, it generally leads to a rise in stocks, gold, and commodities. 08:03 🌐 Notes three big contemporary issues: countries printing money to pay debts, growing wealth gaps leading to internal conflicts, and the rise of China challenging U.S. dominance. 09:36 ⚖️ Defines what an "order" is and how internal orders within countries and world orders change, typically after wars. 11:32 🔄 Introduces the concept of the "big cycle" to understand the rise and fall of empires and their currencies, stating these cycles last approximately 250 years. 13:06 🥊 Observes that leading powers don't decline without conflict, hinting at possible future tensions. 13:36 📊 The power of an empire is measured using eight key metrics: education, inventiveness, competitiveness, economic output, world trade share, military strength, financial center strength, and reserve currency strength. 14:06 🔄 Ray Dalio explains that empires typically follow a cycle involving their rise and fall, driven by cause-effect relationships. 15:08 📈 Initial periods of peace and prosperity often follow the rise of a new dominant power, leading to financial bubbles and increased trade. 15:38 💸 Prosperity usually increases wealth inequality, creating tension between the rich and the poor, which can lead to internal conflict or even revolution. 16:09 🌍 While dealing with internal conflicts, empires weaken compared to rising external powers, leading to external conflicts or wars. 17:38 🩺 The "health" of an empire can be better predicted through indicators of power rather than merely its age. 19:15 👑 Strong leadership over several generations and well-designed systems are crucial for a rising empire. 20:44 💡 Innovation and openness to global thought are vital for the empire's growth and competitive edge. 22:13 🏦 Strong financial systems, like lending and capital markets, are crucial for empowering productivity and innovation. 25:15 💵 Having a reserve currency gives an empire a huge borrowing advantage, often leading to financial bubbles. 26:29 📉 The very strengths that make an empire powerful also plant the seeds of its decline, such as increased costs reducing competitiveness. 27:01 🛳️ Decline of empires often begins when they lose competitiveness. For example, British shipbuilders used less expensive workers but hired Dutch designers to outcompete the Dutch. 27:28 🍷 As a society becomes wealthier, values change and people become less driven, focusing on leisure and less productive pursuits. 28:35 💸 Wealth gaps increase as the rich use their resources to maintain their power, leading to growing social and political divides. 29:06 💵 Having the world's reserve currency can lead to excessive borrowing, which ultimately weakens the nation's economy in the long run. 30:06 🌍 Overextension in international commitments makes maintaining an empire increasingly unprofitable. 31:05 🔄 Wealth and power shifts can begin when richer countries start borrowing from poorer countries that save more. 32:11 📉 Empires typically experience decline gradually, then suddenly, often triggered by a financial crisis. 33:47 🎭 Political extremism and populism rise during times of economic hardship, creating internal conflicts. 35:18 ⚔️ Internal weakness makes empires more susceptible to challenges from rising external powers, increasing the risk of international conflict. 36:51 🌐 Wars often mark the end of an empire's dominant cycle and pave the way for a new world order. 38:54 🔄 Empires go through cycles of rise and decline, and while the circumstances may differ, the core dynamics often remain the same. 40:11 🔄 Reversing a nation's decline is difficult but possible by paying attention to key indicators. 40:44 🌡️ Vital signs like education, competitiveness, and social factors can be used to estimate a nation's longevity. 41:14 ⚖️ A nation's success hinges on two fundamentals: earning more than it spends and treating its citizens well. 41:48 🗺️ The speaker's aim is to help people understand the world's current state and the challenges it faces. 42:24 📚 For further insights, the speaker recommends his book and looks forward to continuing the discussion online.

Lazy brains LOVE simple stories. You tubes greatest gift. Especially from billionaires who seem to know lots about patterns but not so much about principles to live a life of integrity. When making a buck and being in top are the principles you live by, be certain that these people are supporting the war machine and our mass murdering addicts of power and are now probably investing over at the rising power of China and Saudi Arabia because after all enough will never be enough for an addict.

A "MOMENT ?" Ha, I fear he inspired me to write a book about a guy from the Bronx who tried to tell me this DECADES ago. Surely another video is coming; Put him on my " A" list of vides to review. I'll just bet that some of the TEACHERS who are watching this video, will be USING this video to enhance some of their classes as we "speak?" I, personally don't like "reading books", though I did make it through the Communist Manifesto in High School! I'D LOVE TO "SEE" hear this man write a FOLLOW UP VIDEO... Perhaps he could TRY to see it to the Junior Highs as well as the high schools, too ? Great speaker AND a great writer; a rare combination to be found these days on the internet. Now I wonder why "economics" wasn't required at my high school???? Should have been right up there with World History, should it not have ? This author is influencing allot of students, I think, too ? -This being MY book; if I had written one, it would be "about" how "unconditional love for humanity" IS possibly more important than the concept of " World Economics ?" I was engaged to a guy from New York, Manhattan Island, actually, he always talked about his high school, "Stiverson?" I think. Ray Dalio is certainly intelligent in the financial and economic realm, but you had better research Ray Dalio's love for the CCP (Chinese Communist Party), where he had been doing business and helping the CCP for the last 1.5 decades and has given 10 million to the CCP to fight COVID in 2020. Does that not lead to serious concerns, since it was the CCP who released the virus and covered it up, yet Dalio gives them millions? Keep in mind a true philosopher is also a moralist and with Dalio's chosen moral blindness to the CCP violations of human rights and progressive genocide of the Uyghurs, one really has to reconsider idolizing such a man as Dalio.
@someoneelse3456

@@TheSeeker2013 I think it's more of a case of "If you can't beat them, join them". Whether Ray Dalio deals with the CCP really isn't important on a macro level, but obviously will benefit him personally. It's not as if the CCP would be any less powerful with or without his backing.
@TheSeeker2013
@TheSeeker2013 2 жыл бұрын
@@someoneelse3456 Your not thinking this clearly Hootus. Dalio brought millions, if not billions to the pockets of the CCP, which funds their CCP effort to dominate the world and convert it to communism. It is the same as supporting the neighbour street gang (for whatever financial reasons) and they degrade the neighbour further because of their corrupt actions. The CCP has been using greed, money, promises of wealth (ie: debt diplomacy style) to take control of wealth in the world, using the greed of Western investors and businesses to do it. This is what the WEF (World Economic Forum) plans are all about, they are in sync with the plans of Xi Zinping because they know about Dalio's rise and fall scenarios and as the world financial elites, per the Dalio video information, they want the winning side. What is that for the rest of the world? - servitude to the CCP and poverty. (and there is a lot more to this) People like Dalio helping the CCP only accelerates the rise of China and a World War with the USA (per the video). So yes, it matters a whole lot of what Dalio is doing with the CCP, in fact what he should not do. Does that make it clearer for you?

If you liked this video, I highly recommend checking out Grand Theft World. They are a group of human historical encyclopedias (forensic historians) that delve deep into the generalities proposed in this video. For example, how governments have actually been the ones who intentionally fomented internal discord in their own countries as an excuse to grow state power in an attempt to prolong their self-imposed declines due to financial irresponsibility. Also, they very clearly document all of their sources for you to verify on your own. What's more incredible is they teach how the same groups of elites have been on both sides of every conflict, and the notion of "sovereign nation-states" is really a bunch of Kabuki theater to hide the consolidation of power that's actually taking place.

Europe and the US should form a United front against the new challenges facing us from the east. Totalitarianism from China and Russia has too long been ignored for the sake of trade and money. We will now enter a new era , east Vs west, totalitarianism Vs democracy 🇺🇸 🇪🇺 🇬🇧🇬🇸🇰🇷🇯🇵. The west isn’t finished, we enter a new era where the west can prove its willing to fight for their values and for a world order based on western values 🔥 💪🏻
