I opened a mug only Etsy store relying on printify and used district photo as my print provider. Print quality is so low, I already had to issue refunds to 2 of my customers. Especially black text come out half black half blue and also towards the bottom of the design, it gets blurry. I am afraid I will have to close my mug shop since I keep disappointing my customers.

Hi! We don't have such a feature at the moment, but this is a great suggestion. Thank you for sharing! Unfortunately, the printer has a specific print area that it can get to, so extending the design all the way to the handle isn't possible at this time.

Thank you..I have 2 questions..first one a few designs I have a space of white at the top and bottom..is that bad as I noticed you did the entire area..Second question was how do we get the 360 view video to add to our etsy store once the design is made? Thanks so much

Hi! Regarding the white space, that's totally up to you and your design preferences! It may be fitting for one design, but might not look the best with another design. We suggest taking a look at how others design mugs in your niche and how well they're selling. About the 360 view, unfortunately it's not an option to add as a video to your Etsy store, but that's an interesting suggestion that we'll pass along to the responsible team!

Hi! How can I tell if I have my images placed so they are in exactly the same spot on each side-so that one image isn't closer to the handle than the other image?

Hi there! You can adjust the distances more precisely in the right-side toolbar. Our Mockup Generator also has red gridlines that'll help you better position and center your designs. We recommend previewing the final product in both the 3D preview and the mockup images to adjust your designs accordingly. We realize this may not be the most precise solution, but we're continually working to improve these features, so we value your feedback!

I have a question regarding shipping, If someone buys a product within my area, can it be fulfilled in the same area so that shipping isn't high? I'm in Australia and Printify looks to be US ? I'm very new at this and the shipping seems to be a confusing to me.

Hi! Yes, products can be fulfilled in the same area! In short, you can choose who fulfills your orders based on location. Is it possible to design an all-over print for a football(UK) jersey similar to those worn in the premier league? quality breathability is key, under armour quailty for gyms and outdoor sports. Can that be achieved with the garments available for all over print

Hey! Good question - design wise, yes, you can design it how you like as long as you're mindful of not using any copyrighted designs. Regarding breathability and material, you'd have to compare materials. You can read on the product details page about the material. Our football jersey is 100% moisture-wicking polyester (AOP products use sublimation printing technique, so cotton isn't suitable) and has a mesh fabric bottom for breathability.

district photo: how is it packaged for shipping? ...and are the 11 oz mugs from district photo that are shipped to USA customers made in the USA?

Hi there ! Mugs are shipped in polystyrene boxes that are easy to use, with the two-part pack slotting together to provide all-round secure protection, including a slot for the handle. The packaging has been specifically designed to keep the mug intact during transit. There is a hole in the mug packaging and it is an air hole that prevents suction. Otherwise, it would not be possible to pull the package apart and take the mug out. These are made in China.

Hey, You can create product bundles by setting your store to "Manual" in the order approval settings. Hi there, This is only possible if there are different variants available. For example, if there is more than one size, or in the case of accent mugs, more than one color. Hi there! We suggest uploading images in rgb (they will be converted to cmyk by the print provider anyway), but when posting the mockup to your sales channel to use cmyk, in order to show the most realistic version of the product

@@fearleslyForward Hi! You can print on one side if you want. The height will be the same, the length will depend on how big your design is. We suggest playing around in the mockup generator with your design and checking the previews to get an idea of how the final product will look.

So I have a mugs only shop, and I have been noticing a lot of influencers on KZfaq, talking mostly about selling apparel and how lucrative it can be, so I am wondering if it is a bad idea to have a shop that only focuses on mugs. What is your thoughts? Can someone selling only mugs on Etsy find success?

Hi there! Ultimately it depends on your design and the niche you're selling to. If a design is popular enough customers will buy it no matter what it's on. However, you may find customers also asking for that design to be placed on different products as well which is why it's good to expand your options. Having a diversified product offering increases your chances of winning more sales in the long-term.

Hi there! You can see the products you create through the My Products section on Printify. Connecting with your customers largely depends on which sales channels you use. Marketplaces usually have some sort of contact form/chat built in, but if you run a standalone store you would have to set that up yourself.

District Photo needs a lesson on how to print a PNG on a black mug. First, no need to put a black background on it, it looks terrible. Also, 10 days from production to shipping is way too long. "Disappointed"

printify is driving me nuts, i'm in the uk yet every listing is telling uk customers its being shipped from america and charging a fortune in postage when you really print uk mugs in the uk...etsy then complain that shipping prices are too high yet printify wont allow me to charge uk customers a uk shipping price, i'll end up throwing printify in the bin and using gelato, at least they don't lie about where the products are really being shipped from...sort out you different currencies !!!!

Hi spud spuddy, Please first make sure you've selected a print provider located in the UK. You can see all of our print providers here printify.com/app/print-providers and filter by location. You can also see the exact fulfillment location for your chosen print provider on the shipping rates page printify.com/shipping-rates/. In your Etsy listing, please ensure that you have the correct zip code of the location where your mugs are coming from. And this is relatively new, but our catalog now offers prices in GBP, which may help sort things out. If you’re still having issues, please contact our support team, so they can look into this further for you!
