You have to be so patient to get the paper to slough off! I try to put it down and return to it 5 or six times or I get too impatient and I just ruin it...I have a tray filled with a solution of gel medium and water... and I just dip the paper in it I want to transfer and then slide it on to the sheet I want to transfer to, and then I rub the excess off with a credit card. Note that I get best results by applying the gel medium to both surfaces. I have to wait at least a day or longer! Maybe because I use to much watery gel medium? I use this transfer method to get an image onto the surface which I can use to either scratch away or scratch around depending on whether I intend to do relief or intaglio style printing.
