Wes: My 13 year old (oldest of 5 kids) is, right now, planning out his meals for the day including counting his calories and macros. We watch you all the time. We do our workouts together burpee's pushups crunches and plank. He is too young to join a gym but when he turns 14 we are joining. Thanks for everything.

Stop waking up at 2:45.. sleep into 5 am. You will feel better, your body and muscles will have more time to repair itself and grow. Your whole day will be better. I have been a trucker for twenty years and finally got off the crazy all night and all day schedule and my life has been so much better. Even my attitude. Getting up that early is like working 3rd shift which is hard on everything including relationships. You can relax a little now Wes. Enjoy life, take a week and go to Gatlinburg TN . Reserve a cabin online for a week. Life is short and you deserve a nice vacation. If you take your wife to Gatlinburg, Pigion Forge TN in a nice cabin you won't regret it. Fly into Knoxville, rent a cheap car. Car thefts are a problem there so be careful driving your own. Go to Dollywood ect.

You’ll never win the game when reacting to what someone else does or says to you, you have to grow past that. Anybody can get anybody, So why would you seek validation from someone you don’t care about, just to prove your tough, it’s flawed from the gate. Thanks Wes I really dig these words from a previous video, I apply this to my life today. And it worked.

I also scoured my bathroom to gleaming, and stuck to my oatmeal and green tea breakfast instead of indulging on some bullshit meal. Wait. I just realized what u said. You said you lost your dream. And you still keep going. Much love, Brother! We need you. I say this from the bottom of my heart. If you quit, we all quit. Do you understand? Every comment is a hug from us to you. Crusify yourself. What you're doing is FUCKING HELPING US! So, fuck your dream. Fuck my dream. If I can help people by following your example, in my own way, that's enough. Im high, drunk and ashamed right now. You're not playing. Imagine the impact you will have on us ten years from now. Big thanks, much love and appreciation.

Man, I just experienced what you were talking about in an earlier video. I got into a small argument with my spouse. And then realized I was being a bitch about something so simple that I apologized as soon as I snapped out of it. Watching your vids helps a lot man. Thank you for helping us dudes be better men.

Towards the end, you can see the pain in Wes' eyes. I know whatever you are going through, you will always come out with a lesson learned or more wisdom. Maybe this time, The GP crew that we are, help to lift you up. Keep grinding big man, you can lean on us from time to time too.

@@homiehomesteading Well the first step is to focus on yourself, and leave the negativity in your life behind. Don't call people names you wouldn't want to be called. Don't get into unproductive arguments on the internet. Don't throw shade at people. Your choices to commit acts of violence are not out of your control. Keep that in mind. You are completely in control of everything you do. Anger is something that comes naturally to you, you may even find it comfortable. Keep that in mind. You have to consciously work toward your goal every day. Take note of every little achievement you make in regards to your goal. Never give up. Fucking up one day doesn't mean you're a failure, there's always tomorrow. And, most importantly, learn to care about the ramifications of your actions. If you find it easy to hurt people realize that isn't normal acceptable human behavior. All of us want to hurt people, but most won't act on it. Being able to easily hurt someone is a sign of a mental illness. If you killed a junkie as a teenager it sounds like you grew up around violence and drugs. You probably had a traumatic childhood and are suffering from ptsd. The triggering you feel may be your ptsd triggering. Many veterans suffer from ptsd and have violent episodes. My grandfather used to beat the shit out of my dad when he was a boy. Closed fisted abuse. He had stepped on a mine in Germany in 1945 and had horrible ptsd. It's extremely common dude. Especially if you were abused as a child. You should get into therapy, it's really a great help to work with a professional. You'd be surprised. And doing it isn't admitting weakness either, it's admitting you need help and want to change.
