Wes your videos have really resonated with me. Your words somehow get through my thick skull when I dismiss most of what people say. Your views on self discipline, accountability, motivation, and choices is what this world needs more of. And your no nonsense demeanor feels like if I don't shut up listen and learn your going to come through the damn screen and kick the shit out of me. No matter what anyone says you're an inspiration. you've helped me, and I'm willing to bet a lot of others too, man up work on my program and become a better more disciplined and well equipped man. Much respect brother. Thank you

@@GPPenitentiaryLifeWesWatson I understand it's likely of little importance to you, but many psychologists would consider you doctoral level in psychology. I've shown your videos to 3rd and 4th year Clinical Psychology Ph.D. students and already licensed Clinical Psychologists. None have offered any contest against the assertion that you are at doctoral level in this field. I expect the trend to continue as I spread awareness of what you're doing here throughout the academic community. You are invaluable. You are a genuine truth seeker, and I am honored to have stumbled upon your platform. My deepest respect to you, sir.

@@GPPenitentiaryLifeWesWatson I grew up in the system. 75+ involuntary psych admissions. 100s of involuntary anti-psychotic injections. Multiple stretches of solitary confinement. After years of this cycle, instead of taking me to the hospital to take care of me, they began to take me there first just to "clear me for incarceration". My last trip was a scare. I was in psychosis, I didn't remember the crime but knew the charges and how they stacked against me; facing a life sentence. They escorted me to the classification office, and when the woman looked at my papers, she said, "Oh, we don't even need to classify him."... Then she slapped a literal stamp down on my paperwork "MAXIMUM CONFINEMENT" - I had two thought streams: (1) "OK, so I'm going by myself." (2) "They're done playing with me. I just struck out." I thought I was dreaming for a second because it felt like a movie. I felt like, "This isn't real. They don't stamp people's paperwork like that." etc. The Maximum Confinement block (S3A) was full, so they had to bring me to an Administrative Confinement block. When they led me into that cell, I saw a bed, a desk, and even a little touch pad type thing that let me dim my own lights - The most luxurious solitary cell I'd ever stepped into. I was so institutionalized by this point, I was overwhelmed by the "luxury" of this cell they dropped me in. I remember thinking, "I bet those two deputies never seen a kid so happy to be dropped off in confinement." Long story short, they eventually let me out on house arrest. I'm not fully free yet, gotta finish these two felony probations, but I cry tears of joy every day for the freedom God has blessed me with. The setting of this video had me crying tears of joy for you. I see your pain; feel your pain; understand your pain. But I see a man who's sitting in real luxury now, which he deserves, spreading the truth as a preventative measure so that others don't have to find out that even the toughest motherfuckers get softened up if they play this game the wrong way. To Wes' viewers: Please don't play this game. Please listen to this man. I'm out of words. I'm gonna' sip some coffee and play a video game now...Fuck I'm free.

Wes Watson, The realest dude on KZfaq. I remember being at culinary school and I was self absorbed into my craft and these students thought I acted better than them, nah man, it’s not that I think I’m better, there’s just a goal I’m trying to accomplish. Be set before I even graduate, know the basics so I can start working on what my specialty is. Sure a French culinary background is what I’m familiar with but there’s much more to food than knowing a region. There’s more than knowing multiple and doing fusions. Those aren’t special. I think what’s special is just doing something nobody else can copy. What’s authentic to you. And that’s what I did. Now enough about exec sous chef me, what you’re doing for KZfaq reaches many people!!! And that intensity is a must. I am the same way when it comes to wanting the best for people. Just for people to say I’m mean? I just let go in my life. Everybody now and days want to be coddled but you don’t do that. Not everyone has thick skin and can take criticism. It’s highly appreciated. Like you stated a few videos before is, genius hits a target nobody can see. I’m no convict, but who gives a fuck. It’s a message that can be turned to any individual message and like you said a person can connect the fucking DOTS. Maybe I’m off subject but whatever. The point is I appreciate the got damn videos and keep em coming!!!

I never thought about how changing for the better also builds weaknesses on the side. The common situation is if you gain more power, then the weakness for corruption grows. But everything has a flip side, even becoming nicer. And trying to change and then running into weaknesses would discourage change...something for me to think deeply about. I need to see what weakness are being cultivated and how to counteract them without volatility. Thanks Wes! 🙏

Hey Wes. Love your channel and your message. A head's up on Rudolph Steiner's pre-Nazi swastika. That symbol originated with early Eastern (Indian) religions such as Hinduism, Jainism and Buddhism and represented spirituality. When Steiner lived (approx. 1860's to 1920's) the swastika was borrowed from the eastern religions and used by 19th century Theosophists, Anthroposophists and spiritualists like Steiner to represent the divine and spirituality. It wasn't until the 1930's that the Nazis co-opted the swastika and turned it into a symbol of alleged Aryan "supremacy" and racial hatred.

Wes is exactly what he is talking about. Someone who has been institutionalized to the extreme. Even thouhh they are no longer in a prison setting their minds have never left. They pride themselves on being the most militant person around. Waking up early, not giving into cardinal urges and being ready for action at ANYTIME is who they pride them selfs on. Hopefully some day they will have a change on their thouhht process and realize that society is not like that. Maybe not but it has created a intense socially awkward person.

I hated being there, but I took it all in . . . the bunks, the paperback books, the 5 step phone calls to reach someone at home, and the eyes always watching, whether cop or criminal, watching everything you do. You get a reputation really quick and if you're not a 'regular' that rep is never written in a good light. It's a losing game and I de-tangled myself from the CA jail system as soon as I touched it! I could tell that running a BS game was not going to be a worthwhile career. I became an engineer for the next 20 years, now I'm working on music and my band. Today, I'm worth less money than big Wes, but based on his teaching, which I take very much to heart, I push my envelope everyday. I'm so very glad you (big Wes) came thru your time the way you did, to arrive at a point where you now lift every motherfucker you encounter. That is gold and that's how it should be among men.

Anyone who finds gym boring isn't trying hard enough, hard yes, tough yes, wanting to stop when the pain comes yes, but boring ???? the pain takes away the bordom, if your bored your not trying, simple ! gym doesn't help me much because I dont really mind the pain, what makes me grow is socializing, I do find it really hard, but when I have a conversation with a stranger I always feel proud that I managed to think of things to say ! busting my ass off in a gym, no problem !

mcpartridgeboy I find it boring as fuck. I work out daily and it’s a struggle, not to push myself through the pain, but to keep my brain engaged with it. After like five minutes I get bored as Fuck and the entire workout is just me wishing I was doing something else.

@@hunterofnt1 weird, try changing your routing, for example if your trying to get big try and get lean, if your trying to get lean try and get big, change can make great inspiration, though for me I just go on Autopilet as much as possible I try not to think and just do it !

Did 17yr10mo. That was after my juvenile 2.5 yrs from 13-16. . I grew up in a system that was Savage. I'm older now. And a much more patient, goal oriented, Savage that can tell you a couple or three things that people are doing wrong. I compromised so long Wes, I'm getting mine now. Convict mentality never went away. And I'm glad about it. One difference, I'm not hurting nobody no more.

The funny part is....., also why I enjoy Wes videos. Is he teaches us something vital, even us who are not ex cons, or convicted felons. Wether your locked up in prison or not, life’s about discipline and hard work, it’s sad some people have to do hard time to learn that but, at the end of the day. Your gonna have to step up to the plate and put in some effort.
