I discovered them, a little less than a year or so ago. Bought a beautiful 2 stroke 1985 Yamaha RZ 350 Kenny Robert's Edition Sfreetbike from them, and bought a beautiful 2022 GasGas MC 250 2 stroke Mx Dirtbike from them, as well as various other things as much as possible. One truly awesome and rare, beautiful family of human beings, patriotic, talented, honest, and humble to the core. Some of my very favorite people on this planet. I live in Louisiana, and they are THE ONLY PEOPLE I chose to do business with. Nobody else exists to me. They have a customer and friend for life in me. I tell everybody I know that rides about them. They take old school pride in everything they do, and show their appreciation to their customers, the best, old school customer service way. Totally agree. The best 2 motorcycle channels on You Tube. Nobody else even compares. The people that work for then are the Best of The Best, and their Delivery Driver James is The Best Around. Supercool Guy, that takes pride in his deliveries. Deliver Drivers come no better than James. Take care, brother.

That is the exact bike I owned and it IS the BEST dirt bike I have ever owned PERIOD. It started first kick every time, climbed ridiculous hills, and I launched it effortlessly. THAT BIKE IS THE BEST DIRT BIKE EVER MADE AND I AM A HONDA GUY MYSELF AND I'D TRADE FOR MY XR650R RIGHT NOW. That thing is the best bike ever created buy it!!

That's one Mint, Sick, and Super Gorgeous KX 500. Christie's amazingly gorgeous graphics on it, make all of the other colors pop, and give the amazingly beautiful bike more beauty.

91 was the yr dad got my xr80 and I really started ridin…I had subscription to dirtbike and dirtrider plum back to 4th grade and kept em for yrs till they got ruined and was in the way. Wish I’d kept em..member takin my earliest ones on last day of 4th grade and me and my Buddie settin in the open closet area readin em gettin in trouble…round 88’-89’.

Did you put on the thicker later model kicker so it doesn't break? The only thing I don't like about my '97 (aside from power valve cleaning because I run castor) is it shakes a bit more than the CR, but I'm nitpicking at this point.

The kx500 frame rails are prone to rust out and they are paper thin to. I welded a couple plates on my frame that fixed it then ground them down a bit.

Original bikes do not get much better than this what a beauty. Detailing and finish is what you expect from the Kaplan team and of the highest quality. I think Christie's graphics stole the show on this one colours absolutely pop!

I had a 1989 kx80. It ripped. I loved it. Don't wanna sound like an ungrateful brat. But in 1990 and 91 when they started fkin with the hot pink, neon blue and purple I was so envious of the new design. Those bikes were so unbelievably rad.

Thats how i was trained to start two stroke an I learned how to ride on the same bike 😎💯✌very nice bike to ride My riding buddies play a trick on me an told me Hey Adam ride this bike an I thought is was a 250cc bike Dude it just wanted to wheely in every gear an throw you off im 6foot 4 an 225 lbs and the bike the bike didnt care just luv this machine,....

I always thought Kawasaki had the best power valve system for low-end my 250 was a beast now have a super mini 100 and it's got all the low end grunt you need!!

O....M....G !!!! That is my exact year KX500 and I will argue with anyone that is THE best dirt bike ever made and I have ridden and owned many. I still hate myself for ever selling mine and I have a mint XR650R that I love but not when I see that. That bike had ZERO flaws that's why they never changed them and they have won the Baja many times. Ken i was die hard Honda guy too but that bike is unbearable

Hahahaha the old fluorescent purple graphics, remember it well on my kdx 200...hated that bike, always gave me problems. Went to honda never looked back

@@user-jo4sx3rl9n I do love them all, I remember being 10yrs old and found a 1987 kx500 at my local scrapyard ( in 1988 I'm 45 now) that thing was amazing. But owning one I realised they are inferior to Honda and Suzuki, not in looks or performance, just build quality.
